Your Role as an RN Charge Nurse:
* Provide quality nursing care in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
* Administer medications, treatments, and monitor residents' conditions.
* Communicate with physicians, healthcare team members, residents, and families to ensure continuity of care.
Accurately document care and resident status in the medical record.
* Supervise nurse aides and medication aides, ensuring procedures and resident rights are upheld.
* Assist residents with activities of daily living when needed.
* Promote a safe, clean, calm, and supportive environment for residents and staff.
* Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines.
* Participate in in-service programs, educational opportunities, and team meetings.
Promote dignity, comfort, and well-being.
What We're Looking For:
* Current RN license in Ohio.
* Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
* Current CPR certification.
* One year of experience in healthcare, long-term care, or skilled nursing preferred.
* Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
* Compassion, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
* Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
* Physical ability to perform nursing duties, including assisting and transferring residents as needed.
* Commitment to resident dignity, safety, and well-being.
