We are seeking a preschool teacher to join our organization! This individual will plan and present age-appropriate activities for children.
Responsibilities:
Provide preschool children with activities designed to promote developmental, intellectual, and creative growthCreate a fun, healthy, and safe learning environmentDevelop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtimeCreate lesson plans, calendars, and follow an approved curriculumDocument developmental observations and track in an approved assessment portalEstablish and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parentsCommunicate with parents on students' daily activities, growth, and progress, as well as conduct parent teacher conferencesMaintain the health and safety of all students using the PA Child Care licensing standards, Caring for Our Children, and Keystone Stars Standards.Qualifications:
An associate's or bachelor's degree in ECE or a related field with at least 15 credits of ECEPrevious experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields (at least 2 years)Passionate about working with childrenAbility to build rapport with children and maintain a high-quality classroomPositive and patient demeanorExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCompany DescriptionSupportive environment where people and family come first.
