This position supports the surgeons in daily clinical practice. Phone triage of vascular patients includes pre and postsurgical questions, medication refills, wound complications, FMLA/disability paperwork, prior authorizations, etc. Provides patient education and counseling under the direction of the physician. Assists physician with examinations and procedures. Wound care experience as well as EMR software experience helpful. Looking for someone with strong customer service and critical thinking skills who enjoys working with geriatric patients. BCLS required. Day shift, Monday through Friday, no call, no weekends. Some occasional day travel to satellite offices.
