    Our well-established, multi-provider, Treasure Coast cardiology practice (Vero Beach/Fort Pierce area) has a full-time opening for a experienced Medical Assistant with at least two (2) years of medical assistant experience. Come work with our qualified, experienced and caring professionals who put their patients first and have their patients’ health and satisfaction as their highest priorities.

    Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): patient initial encounters, physician support, managing patient inquiries and communications, and thorough documentation in the EMR.

    The successful candidate will be flexible with job assignments, able to multi-task, be dependable with an excellent job attendance record, enjoy working with patients and demonstrate strong customer service skills. Cardiology experience and proficiency in EClinicalWorks boosts your resume to the top of the pile.

    Job Description

    · Job Type: Full-time

    · Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

    Job Requirements

    · Two (2) years of Medical Assistant experience

    · Two (2) year of electonic medical records experience

    · Able to commute to our Fort Pierce and Vero Beach office

    Job Type: Full-time

    Starting Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour

    We are seeking an experienced Medical Records Specialist  to join our healthcare team at a busy, multi-provider cardiovascular practice. In this role you will be responsible for managing all incoming referrals and medical records requests as well as obtaining hosptial records and medical records from other providers and medical facilities.  Transcription experience a plus.  The ideal candidate will be proficient in EClinicalWorks and be well versed in electronic health record (EHR) systems (Epic/Expanse/Patient Keeper) and insurance portals. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to quality patient care through meticulous record-keeping and data management.

    Duties

    Manage timely processing of medical records receipt (often urgently) and coordinate with Medical Assistants for multiple providersEnter, update, and retrieve information using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systemsEnsure all medical documentation complies with HIPAA and other regulatory standardsPrepare and provide necessary documentation for office visits and in-house proceduresSupport administrative staff with data entry and record management tasks as required

    Skills

    Proficiency with EclinicalWorks, Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, insurance portals and healthcare software applicationsStrong knowledge of cardiovascular medical terminology and coding practicesExcellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate record keepingAbility to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentialityGood communication skills for collaborating with healthcare providers and administrative staffAbility to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
