    We’re hiring a REMOTE CONTRACT Senior Instructional Designer / Learning Program Manager to support a high-visibility External Academy within a fast-paced FinTech environment. This is a strategic contract role blending instructional design, curriculum development, learning strategy, program management, stakeholder alignment, and AI-enabled content development. If you have experience designing enterprise eLearning programs and managing complex learning initiatives end-to-end, this role is for you.

    1099 or C2C Contract Details (No W2)

    6-month contract (strong likelihood of extension)

    100% Remote (U.S. or Canadian candidates only) with a start date of March 2026

    40 hours/week

    $65–$75/hour (C2C or 1099), based on experience

    Standard U.S. business hours (EST/CST/MST/PST)

    Core Responsibilities (Instructional Design + Program Management)

    This is a senior-level hybrid role combining learning strategy, instructional design, and learning program management.

    You will:

    Serve as a trusted learning strategist applying systems thinking to enterprise training programs

    Design and develop domain-rich curriculum, eLearning, and blended learning solutions

    Co-create executive dashboards and presentations that communicate learning ROI and business impact

    Define learning KPIs and track measurable success metrics

    Conduct learning data analysis and recommend program improvements

    Manage cross-functional stakeholders and SMEs in a fully remote environment

    Forecast instructional design workload, timelines, and resource planning

    Estimate project scope and manage SLAs

    Bring structure to complex, fast-moving learning initiatives

    Curriculum & Learning Program Leadership

    Develop applied learning experiences (workflows, simulations, compliance, real-world practice scenarios)

    Create pre- and post-assessments and evaluation strategies

    Support “test-out” frameworks and competency validation models

    Partner with vendors and contingent workforce Instructional Designers

    Ensure accessibility, retention, and knowledge transfer across diverse learning audiences

    AI-Enabled Learning & GenAI Experience

    This External Academy values modern, AI-powered workflows.

    You will use AI tools to:

    Draft scripts and storyboards

    Build job aids and microlearning assets

    Accelerate research and content development

    Prototype interactive learning experiences

    Analyze learning data and insights

    Experience with ChatGPT, Gemini, NotebookLM, AI bots, or similar GenAI tools is strongly preferred.

    We’re seeking 2 more experienced Senior Instructional Designers to support our FinTech client SaaS product training for experts (agents). This role focuses on eLearning experiences that help our experts confidently master complex financial products while keeping a strong customer-first mindset.

    This is a hands-on design role for someone who enjoys translating complexity into clarity, building learning from scratch, and using modern tools (including AI) to create engaging, practice-first learning journeys.

    About the Role

    You’ll design and build blended learning programs that transform complex enterprise financial tools into clear, engaging, and scalable learning experiences. The work spans new builds and enhancements, with an emphasis on scenario-based learning, simulations, and real-world application.

    You’ll collaborate closely with Learning Program Managers (LPMs), SMEs, and Technical teams, often working with evolving or ambiguous requirements and bringing structure, creativity, and momentum to the work.

    What You’ll Do

    Design and build eLearning courses supporting complex enterprise financial tools plus ILT programs

    Create end-to-end learning journeys, from needs analysis through delivery and iteration

    Write clear, concise, learner-friendly content that makes complex topics easy to understand

    Build interactive product simulations and scenario-based learning using Articulate 360 (Storyline), Synthesia, and 7Taps

    Develop engaging and creative Instructor-Led Training Programs

    Use AI prompt engineering to support scripts, scenarios, job aids, practice exercises, and assessments

    Review, modernize, and enhance existing content for engagement, clarity, and effectiveness

    Conduct content audits and identify reuse or modularization opportunities

    Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines with minimal oversight

    Partner effectively with SMEs and stakeholders to align learning with business priorities

    What We’re Looking For

    7+ years of Instructional Design experience

    Experience with technical, software, or SaaS training.

    Intermediate Articulate 360 (Storyline) skills (triggers, layers; xAPI/JS a plus)

    Experience building ILT, VILT, and eLearning for complex or technical products

    Experience with Synthesia and 7Taps

    Strong ability to simplify complex topics into engaging, learner-centered content

    Comfortable creating content from scratch, even when objectives are evolving

    Proven ability to manage your own projects and priorities

    Creative, solution-oriented, and adaptable in fast-moving environments
