Key Responsibilities
Order Management: Facilitate the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring that all dishes are prepared and served in a timely manner.Quality Control: Inspect each dish for accuracy, temperature, and presentation before it leaves the kitchen. This includes adding garnishes and making final adjustments to enhance visual appeal.Communication: Act as the liaison between the kitchen staff and waitstaff, relaying order details, modifications, and readiness status. Inform servers about any potential delays or issues with orders.Coordination: Ensure that all dishes for a table are ready simultaneously to enhance the dining experience. Manage the rhythm of the kitchen during busy periods to prevent delays.Sanitation Standards: Maintain cleanliness and organization at the expediting station, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.Required Skills and Qualifications
