Cannon's Appliance Service is currently seeking a skilled, reliable, and drug-free appliance repair technician to join our team. Established in 1984, our company is nationally recognized and provides manufacturer warranty and service contract support throughout Polk County, FL, including Fort Meade, Wauchula, Avon Park, and Sebring.
Qualified candidates must possess at least three years of professional experience in home appliance repair, including the ability to disassemble and reassemble units, interpret wiring diagrams, and utilize an ohmmeter for effective troubleshooting. Applicants must have a clean driving record (no DUIs or reckless driving) and reside within our service area in Polk County.
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional overtime. We maintain a professional, service-oriented environment focused on product repair rather than sales. Compensation is hourly rather than commission-based, with pay ranging from $27.00 to $29.00 per hour for experienced technicians, plus tips and performance bonuses.
We provide comprehensive benefits, including company-provided service vehicles following a successful 2-3 week onboarding period, health insurance after 90 days, and retirement plans. Employees are eligible for five vacation days following their 90-day review, and after one year of employment, benefits increase to 15 days (120 hours) of vacation time and five sick days.
