    We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper for Saturday and Sunday only to ensure the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public spaces. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and positive guest interactions.

    Compensation:

    $16.75 hourly


    Responsibilities:

    At Candlewood Suites, we follow the IHG Way of Clean standards. Team members are expected to:

    Clean and service guest rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and public areasMake beds, change linens, dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize all surfacesRestock towels, amenities, and housekeeping suppliesReport maintenance issues or damaged items promptlyFollow all hotel safety and security proceduresEnsure rooms meet IHG Brand Standards before releasing them for guest arrivalPay close attention to high-touch surfaces and overall room presentationWork efficiently while maintaining a high level of attention to detailReport all lost and found items to the Housekeeping ManagerEnsure extended stay kitchens are properly cleaned, including refrigerators, microwaves, stovetops, and countertopsMaintain housekeeping carts, supply closets, and cleaning equipment in an organized and stocked conditionRespond to guest requests in a professional and timely mannerMaintain consistency and cleanliness standards at all times

    Candlewood Suites St. Charles is seeking a motivated, hands-on Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in the day-to-day operation of our 94-room extended-stay hotel.


    The ideal candidate is a leader who is passionate about guest service, team development, and operational excellence.


    Previous hotel leadership experience is required. Experience with IHG brands and Opera PMS/Opera Cloud is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong hospitality background and a desire to grow their career.

    Compensation:

    $43,000 yearly


    Responsibilities:Partner with the General Manager to lead all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, profitability, and team performance.Drive operational excellence across Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Guest Services departments.Hold department leaders and team members accountable for meeting company standards, performance expectations, and guest service goals.Analyze and improve key hotel metrics, including Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, labor costs, guest satisfaction scores, and profitability.Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team while fostering a positive workplace culture.Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with IHG brand standards, safety requirements, and cleanliness expectations.Effectively communicate priorities, expectations, and performance goals.Manage scheduling and labor productivity to maximize efficiency while maintaining service excellence.Oversee guest recovery efforts and resolve escalated guest concerns with professionalism and urgency.Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and company regulations, including safety, security, and risk management standards.Assist in developing and executing strategies to increase occupancy, market share, and guest loyalty.Partner with the Sales and Revenue Management teams to achieve revenue goals and maximize hotel performance.Lead by example through active involvement in daily hotel operations and guest interactions.Assume full responsibility for hotel operations and decision-making in the General Manager's absence.
    Qualifications:

    Required:

    Minimum 1 year of supervisory or management experience in hotel hospitality.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems.


    Preferred:

    Hotel management experience.Experience with IHG hotels and brand standards.Experience using Opera PMS.Extended-stay hotel experience.Bilingual English/Spanish.
