Cambridge International Systems, Inc. has a full-time Senior Systems Administrator opportunity available based in McLean, VA. Qualified candidates for this job must possess a current DoD TS/SCI full scope w/poly security clearance. ROLE RESPONSIBILTIES
    • Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers. • Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency. • Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts. • Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space. • Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. • Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. • Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. • May be assigned responsibility for less experienced staff.
    • Considered a recognized authority within the company. • Works on unusually complex technical problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative. • Determines and pursues courses of action necessary to obtain desired results.
    • Managed entire site, mission, and personnel at a secure data facility providing large-scale storage for classified electronic records for multiple customers
    • Regularly interface with customer and outside clients, acting as the Point of Contact for the site
    • Maintain special programs equipment to provide near real time support to specialized customer
    • Develop and build highly redundant and available REFS storage on JBOD storage systems exceeding 7 PetaBytes
    • Manage large private library of controlled and classified data to be supplied in proper fashion to customers ensuring data is securely transferred via Tableau write-blocking devices and forensic data tools • Install software, operating system and BIOS updates on mission-critical hardware within off-hours maintenance windows in order to comply with uptime service level agreements (SLAs)
    • Provide training on highly sophisticated third-party software to customers that have had little to no previous experience
    • Ensure proper handling of highly classified material and ensure that it is processed correctly and only approved products are disseminated
    • Engineer physical and virtual Windows server and desktop machines, SANS, and network devices to support the changing environment in a dynamic mission
    • Maintain and operate high level secure communication equipment for secure voice, video telecommunications (VTC), and computer network traffic over global areas • Develop training plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to be utilized by all personnel assigned, and write them at a level that allows any assigned person to accomplish the required tasks without needing additional assistance REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Must possess an active DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
    • Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 10 - 12 yrs. of experience or a Master's with 8 - 10 yrs. of experience.
    • Must be proficient in using different technologies such as computers and other tools and systems pertinent to the position. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Cambridge International Systems, Inc. has a full time Electronic Security System Engineer opportunity in Charleston, South Carolina. Qualified candidates for this job must possess a current DoD Secret security clearance. This position may be subject to the Service Contract Labor Standards Act (SCLS)/Service Contract Act (SCA). ROLE RESPONSIBILTIES Participate in site surveys and gathering of data to obtain site-specific information necessary for design and installation efforts Provide support to the design of electronic security system and subsystem solutions from initial concept to final product based on customer work requirements. Generate material lists for design efforts. Participate in periodic design reviews as dictated by customer/ contract requirements Perform PITCO (Pre-Installation, Testing and Check Out) activities in our engineering facility. Leverage manufacturer's literature and technical support during solution development Utilize controlled documentation and government standards, application guides, and industry best practices to support the design and installation process Assist with the scope definition, specification, and budgetary write-ups for proposal capture personnel for ESS efforts. Performs physical installation activities in unusual locations including climbing in and out of equipment and working outdoors. Required QUALIFICATIONS Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. Lenel Certification Working knowledge and/or certification with electronic security manufacturers such as Lenel, AMAG, Software House, FLIR, Hirsch, MDI, Bosch, Pelco, Genetec, HID, and Axis. Working knowledge and /or certification with operating systems commonly used for ACS, IDS, and CCTV systems Installation, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic security system components and supporting hardware; examples include the following: Security appliances/processors and field sensors (e.g. motion/vibration, contact, buried line, fiber optic, radar, microwave, thermal, etc.) Access control: workstations with credentialing software, door controllers, card readers CCTV: cameras, video management servers, network video recorders Battery backup controllers Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous workloads effectively, including adapting to changes, planning, organizing, and prioritizing work Ability to read and interpret project ICD (Interface Control Document) drawings and electrical schematics DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Hands on experience deploying and testing Physical Security Systems 5 plus years' experience in security systems installation Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
