ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a skilled and motivated AWS Cloud Engineer to join our growing engineering team in West Valley City, Utah. In this hybrid role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure while collaborating closely with our full-stack and backend teams. You will be an active participant in our infrastructure strategy development and a go-to resource for cloud-native development.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure including RDS databases and Route 53 DNS configurationsContainerize and orchestrate services using Docker and related toolingBuild and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, ensuring reproducible and version-controlled environmentsDevelop backend services and automation scripts in Python and GoLangCollaborate with front-end engineers on React and TypeScript applications, supporting API integration and deployment pipelinesMonitor cloud performance, optimize costs, and enforce security best practices across all AWS servicesParticipate in on-call rotations and incident response as neededExperienced with GitHubREQUIREMENTS
3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly RDS, Route 53, EC2, S3, and IAMProficiency with Docker and container-based deploymentsStrong Terraform skills for infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle managementSolid programming experience in Python and/or GoLang for automation and microservicesFamiliarity with React and TypeScript in a full-stack or DevOps-adjacent capacityUnderstanding of CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and DevSecOps principlesExcellent communication skills and ability to work across teams in a hybrid environmentAWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, or SysOps) are a plusWHAT WE OFFER
