This position is located at the RTS Operations Center in Huntsville, Alabama. PAY RATE: $34.90 plus H&W $5.09 per hour Essential Functions - Perform technical writing for instrumentation at the Ronald Reagan Test Site (RTS). - Update documentation as required by either schedule or from field requests. - Utilize SharePoint to collect, monitor, and manipulate RTS Sensor and system information through the collection, review, approval, and final distribution process. - Maintain SharePoint site as a repository and to disseminate information to field personnel. - Responsible for drafting new technical documentation, as well as editing existing documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to configuration standards. - Coordinate with internal and external customers in the production of contractually deliverable documents, reports, and manuals relating to range instrumentation. - Maintain and meet deliverable schedules; must be proactive in obtaining information from field staff. - Responsible for accurate application of standard concepts and practices. - Cross-train with the Configuration Management (CM) Analyst to learn the Engineering Change Proposal/Project, Study, and Tasks (ECP/PST) processes; become adept at both positions for backup purposes.
