    Summary/Objective

    The Marketing Specialist develops, coordinates, and executes marketing strategies to promote MGC Diagnostics’ products and services. This role involves researching market trends, analyzing data, creating marketing materials, and managing campaigns across multiple channels. The Marketing Specialist plays a key role in building brand awareness, driving customer engagement, and supporting business objectives.

    Marketing Strategy & CampaignsAssist in the development and execution of marketing plans, campaigns, and promotional activities.Support product launches with targeted campaigns and collateral.Oversee day-to-day campaign management across digital, print, and event channels.Collaborate with product managers and sales teams to align messaging and campaign objectives.Market Research & AnalysisResearch and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior.Gather data to inform marketing strategies and identify new opportunities.Track and report on campaign performance and ROI, providing recommendations for improvement.Content Creation & DesignCreate, edit, and manage marketing materials including brochures, presentations, emails, social media content, and web copy.Design graphics and layouts for print and digital platforms using Adobe Creative Suite.Maintain and update website and intranet content to ensure accuracy and brand consistency.Digital Marketing & Social MediaManage social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) to increase engagement and visibility.Develop engaging content for online channels, including blogs, campaigns, and videos.Use analytics tools to measure performance and adjust strategies accordingly.Collaboration & SupportWork with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate projects and ensure timely delivery.Provide support for trade shows, events, and promotional activities.Proofread and review marketing communications for accuracy, compliance, and consistency.

    Required Education and Experience

    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field.2–4 years of experience in marketing, communications, or digital media.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).Familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and basic marketing automation.Strong writing, editing, and design skills.

    Accounting, General Ledger, Administration and Operations

    Supervise the accounting department to ensure the proper functioning of all systems, databases and financial software. Provide regular maintenance and backup of all accounting systems and supervise company financial staff.Review and ensure application of appropriate internal controls, JSOX compliance and financial procedures.Ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial and management reporting data for federal funders, foundations, investors and company’s board of directors.Oversee the preparation and communication of weekly, monthly and annual financial statements.Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all local, state and federal tax returns.Ensure JSOX compliance regarding all financial functions.Work with Human Resources to ensure appropriate legal compliance.Oversee the month-end close process, constantly reviewing procedures while eliminating inefficiencies.Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.Review all month-end closing activities including general ledger accounts, balance sheet accounts and overhead cost allocation.Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools and control systemsHire, develop and manage accounting directors, managers and staffServe as a key point of contact for external auditors; Manage preparation and support of all external audits.Coordinate and strategize methods used to attain team goals with Corporate and Regional Controllers.


    Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting

    Strategy, Planning and Management

    Act as Director, FP&A and strategic business partner to senior executive leadership team.Assess and evaluate financial performance of organization regarding long-term operational goals, budgets and forecasts.Provide insight and recommendations to both short-term and long-term growth plan of organization.Identify, acquire and implement systems and software to provide critical financial and operational information.     Cash Management
