    JOB TITLE:  Multi-Unit Caffe Manager – Retail Operations

    REPORTS TO:  Senior Manager & Regional Director - Retail Operations

    JOB DESCRIPTION:The Multi-Unit Caffe Manager – Retail Operations is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the caffe front-of-house logistics and operations, and for providing ground support on behalf of Senior Leadership with the goal of building a strong team of hospitality-focused professionals. This person will be responsible for conveying and upholding the company vision and guiding principles, while inspiring their teams to do the same.
    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:Operations:Coaches the team and implements systems and processes to manage growth across multiple locations.Communicates regularly with Senior Leadership and warehouse/supply chain to ensure effective store operations and inventory management/control.Assists in coordinating and scheduling all ongoing preventative maintenance and repair needs. Steps in as needed to ensure continued success of operations (Addresses staffing shortages, manager departures, administers manager/team training, including escalated coaching of managers to turn around a caffe, participates in and leads future caffe openings, etc.)Identifies future leaders and fosters an environment of growth; builds a bench of top performers.Financial Management:Keeps COGS and labor costs within budgeted parameters. Understands and monitors the P&L, caffe cost-control methods, and inventory carrying costs to ensure bottom line effectiveness.Business Management:Creates status reports, business reviews, and inventory management reports.Utilizes data and experience to identify and address trends and issues in store performance and category management.Execution:Provides daily in-store "air support" during high-volume periods to monitor and maintain overall drink and food quality, customer service, speed of service, staff deployment, and store cleanliness.Conducts weekly store visits and provides constructive feedback to store management and team members.Collaborates and communicates with other business functions (e.g., Marketing) to assist executing programs and initiatives (monthly promotions, sampling experiences, develop new product pipeline, create seasonal offers for our food and drink programs, etc.). Trains staff in executing these initiatives.Is available on call to supervise others in situations when they occur.HR Management:Sets a positive example for the team by leading by example, managing with integrity and honesty, and promoting the company's culture, values, and mission.Displays a customer-centric attitude by holding staff accountable for delivering quality products and customer service.Monitors and manages store staffing levels to ensure successful operations.Participates in talent acquisition (all caffes).Provides coaching, motivation, and direction to create a high-performance team.Provides formal annual performance review to all subordinate team members covering their strengths, areas needing improvement, and goals for the coming year.Maintains employee records, monitors and helps shepherd employees through training programs, manages key milestones in a caffe employee’s career to ensure everyone stays on track (1,3,6-month check-ins and annual performance reviews).Manages caffe managers as direct reports as assigned. 
    QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience. Minimum 5-7 years management experience in retail, food or hospitality; multi-unit management experience, a plus.Demonstrated ability to lead people at all levels of seniority.Ability to zoom out and understand the big picture, while also zoom in and manage the day-to-day details as required.Superior oral and written communications skills.Meticulous organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage several concurrent tasks.Proficient computer knowledge and experience, especially with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Revel POS.Energetic and enthusiastic customer service-oriented professional.Reliable transportation and valid driver license. Willingness and ability to frequently travel between all business locations.

    JOB TITLE: Director of Operations

    REPORTS TO: President

    JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Director of Operations is responsible for managing, driving, and overseeing all aspects of the operation, providing strategic and operational leadership, while also supervising functional managers (Warehouse/Logistics, Production, Roasting, Office) with a directed effort towards building a strong team of professionals. This person will manage the day-to-day operations of a coffee roasting facility, involving the shipping and receiving of inventory, equipment, coffee, and coffee-related materials. The job will also include managing supply chain and inventory costs, and evaluating/developing operational systems to optimize the overall efficiency for the warehouse and roasting operation. You must be an excellent communicator and analyzer, capable of effective collaboration and delegation. This person will contribute to the big picture by ensuring daily operations run smoothly and as efficiently as possible.

    Job Description: Cafe Manager.Reports to: Senior Manager - Retail Operations.

    This role contributes to the success of Caffe Luxxe by working on the bar setting the right example for others, and managing Caffe staff to achieve financial, operational, and organizational results for a specific location.

    The Cafe Manager is responsible for managing the overall operations and logistics of his/her location and also ensuring product quality, customer service, and cafe cleanliness are all up to Caffe Luxxe standards.

    Additionally, the Cafe Manager needs to manage/balance his/her time on and off the bar to be effective.

    Summary of Key Responsibilities:
    People Leadership & Management:Models Caffe Luxxe values and sets the example for excellent service.Consistently provides specific positive and constructive feedback to the team as a whole and individually to ensure the growth of employees and adherence to Caffe Luxxe values.Works through others to maintain a broader perspective and foster the growth of the team.Exemplifies composure in high-pressure situations.Provides formal annual review to team members covering strengths and areas needing improvement and goals for the coming year.Participates in the Caffe Luxxe mentor program.Ensures adherence to applicable wage and hour laws and health codes.
    Financial Management:Understands and owns the profit and loss of his/her location.Manages top and bottom-line revenue and costs for maximum efficiency.Collaborates with GM to set “stretch” and achievable sales targets and works with the team to surpass them.Seeks out trends and patterns in Caffe business and makes adjustments accordingly to improve store performance.
    Operations Management:Ensures Caffe is adhering to standard Caffe Luxxe operating procedures.Develops and manages systems to foster organization and smoothness of operation; collaborates with other managers to ensure consistency across all cafes.Oversees efficiency of shop logistics and adjusts according to any opportunities for improvement.Manages inventory effectively to avoid stock-outs and overstocks.Ensures equipment is maintained on a regular service cycle.
