    Administrative Assistant

    C.A. Technologies is an industrial automation OEM and engineering company. The company has an opening in the Greenville, MS office for an Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will coordinate various office support services and will assist administrators, salespersons, accounting, and engineering project managers in day-to-day activities. This person will communicate with the engineering staff daily and must be detailed oriented. This person will support management and will be an integral part of the staff. This position will require strong communication skills, organization skills and basic accounting knowledge.

    A working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel, PowerPoint) is required. A working knowledge of Quick Books is beneficial. An AS or BS degree in a related field is not required but is beneficial.

    Hours will be full-time, Monday thru Friday 8-5. Benefits include 2 weeks’ vacation, standard holidays, and insurance including Health, Life, Dental and Vision is available.

    Responsibilities:

    Design, develop, and implement industrial control systems and processesLead design, and software reviews of projects to ensure project deliverables around automation systems are achievedProgram and troubleshoot industrial control systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and develop solutionsLiaise with customers, suppliers, contractors, and relevant authoritiesProject management within cost and time constrained environmentsConduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve automation issuesCreate and interpret schematics for automation equipmentProvide technical support, troubleshooting help, and guidance to customers and contractorsAny other duties deemed necessary or appropriate

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field / or 5 years related experienceStrong knowledge of automation systems and technologiesStrong knowledge of Allen Bradley ControlLogix, Rockwell, and Wonderware IntouchExperience with distributed control systems in a manufacturing environmentMechanical knowledge and understanding of automated processesProficiency in CAD software for designing electrical schematics and flow sheetsStrong problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis techniquesExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutionsStrong planning and organizational skillsAbility to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a teamAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

    Duties (Automation Technician):

    Design Automation SystemsInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot automated systems and equipmentProgram and configure industrial control systems to perform specific tasksCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation needs and develop solutionsConduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on automation equipmentFabricate and assemble components for automation systemsTrouble-shoot PLC, electrical, mechanical, and robotic problems using schematics, programs, meters, and other hand toolsDiagnose electrical and electronic problemsPerforms special projects and other duties as assigned by the Operations ManagerProvides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production (off shift, weekends, holidays included)Revises and updates programs and documentation as requiredHelp guide, support, and teach co-workersAny other duties deemed necessary or appropriate

    Qualifications (Automation Technician):

    Experience as an Automation Technician, Industrial Process Technician, or similar roleProficiency in CAD software for designing automation systemsStrong knowledge of control systems including Allen Bradley PLCs, RSLogix, ControlLogix, Wonderware, HMIs, VFDs and NetworksExperience in troubleshooting and repairing automation equipmentFamiliarity with machining processes and mechanical knowledgeKnowledge of robotics is a plus

    The Industrial Electrician is responsible for the assembly of our industrial electrical systems. Duties include all aspects of the electrical build including; inventory control, reading schematics, enclosure cutouts, sub panel assembly, wiring, wire labeling, markers, documentation, and testing of control panels.

    Responsibilities (Industrial Control Panel Builder):

    Assemble / install industrial motor control panels using hand tools and power toolsMounting and wiring components such as VFDs, motor starters, relays, PLCs, and HMIsRead and interpret blueprints and schematics and recognize componentsAssemble electro-mechanical components with interconnect wiringCut, strip, bend, and mount wires to connect electrical units within the panel boxIdentify and correct malfunctioning installation and/or components using test equipment and hand toolsEnsure continuity of circuits in electrical wiring to ensure safety of systemWork directly with engineering to resolve issues with layout/build to sustain scheduled delivery

    Qualifications (Industrial Control Panel Builder):

    1+ year of electrical experience, with proficiency in reading electrical schematics and electrical troubleshootingExperience with electrical wiring, preferably in a panel shop helpful but not necessaryKnowledge in using hand tools, power tools, volt meter and other related electrical equipmentMust be able to work independently, accurately, and efficientlyMust be able to work on multiple concurrent projectsAbility to stand, stoop and/or kneel for extended periods of timeAbility to occasionally left heavy objects
