    Program Overview

    Butterfly Support Services provides comprehensive behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Our multidisciplinary team delivers evidence-based, person-centered care for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, behavioral concerns, mood disorders, PTSD, family conflict, stress management, and other behavioral health needs.

    Position Summary

    The Program Director provides strategic and operational leadership for assigned behavioral health programs. This position oversees day-to-day clinical and administrative operations while ensuring exceptional service delivery, staff development, compliance, quality assurance, and organizational growth.

    The Program Director supervises clinical and support staff, promotes a positive culture of accountability, and ensures programs operate efficiently while meeting organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

    This position also maintains a small clinical caseload to remain connected to service delivery and support organizational needs.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Leadership & Program Management

    Provide overall leadership, direction, and oversight of assigned behavioral health programs.Develop and implement strategies to improve program effectiveness and client outcomes.Monitor program performance through quality indicators, productivity measures, and outcome data.Ensure compliance with agency policies, accreditation standards, payer requirements, and applicable state and federal regulations.Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable work environment.Participate in strategic planning and organizational growth initiatives.Serve as an ambassador for Butterfly Support Services within the community.

    Staff Supervision

    Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and retain high-performing staff.Provide supervision, coaching, mentoring, and professional development.Conduct regular individual supervision and team meetings.Complete performance evaluations and performance improvement plans when necessary.Plan, assign, and monitor workloads.Ensure staff maintain productivity expectations and documentation standards.Provide clinical consultation and guidance regarding treatment planning and case management.Assist with case coverage when staffing needs arise.

    Clinical Oversight

    Oversee treatment planning, service delivery, documentation, and case progression.Review and approve clinical documentation in a timely manner.Monitor documentation quality to ensure compliance with payer and regulatory standards.Facilitate clinical case reviews and support evidence-based treatment practices.Attend consultation meetings and implement recommendations.Maintain a small clinical caseload, including assessments, treatment planning, therapy, and/or case management as assigned.

    School-Based Case Manager

    Position Summary

    The School-Based Case Manager provides school-based and community-based behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and families enrolled in Butterfly Support Services. This position is responsible for delivering Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST), Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS), care coordination, advocacy, skill-building, and resource coordination to help clients achieve their behavioral health, educational, and personal goals.

    During the academic school year, the School-Based Case Manager is assigned to a partner school and serves as the primary on-site behavioral health representative. The Case Manager works collaboratively with school administrators, teachers, counselors, families, and community providers to identify student needs, coordinate services, reduce barriers to learning, and promote academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success.

    In addition to school-based responsibilities, the School-Based Case Manager maintains an assigned community caseload and provides services outside of school hours, including evenings, school breaks, holidays, and summer months. Services are delivered in homes, schools, community settings, and other approved locations to ensure continuity of care and support positive outcomes for youth and families.

    Work Schedule

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    School-Based Responsibilities

    Serve as Butterfly Support Services' primary behavioral health representative at the assigned school.Build collaborative relationships with school administrators, teachers, counselors, social workers, nurses, and support staff.Participate in student support meetings, IEP meetings, 504 meetings, attendance meetings, behavior intervention meetings, and multidisciplinary team meetings as assigned.Identify students in need of behavioral health services and assist with referrals and service coordination.Provide behavioral interventions, skill-building, crisis support, and emotional regulation strategies within the school setting.Collaborate with families and school personnel to improve student attendance, behavior, academic performance, and overall well-being.Maintain a professional presence while following all school policies and procedures.

    Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST)

    Provide CPST services in accordance with individualized treatment plans.Assist clients with accessing medical, behavioral health, educational, vocational, housing, transportation, and community resources.Coordinate care among therapists, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, schools, child welfare agencies, juvenile courts, and other providers.Advocate for clients and families to reduce barriers to treatment and improve functioning.Monitor client progress toward treatment goals and communicate concerns to the treatment team.

    Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS)

    Deliver Therapeutic Behavioral Services to improve emotional regulation, coping skills, communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and daily functioning.Teach behavioral strategies that promote success at home, school, and in the community.Assist clients in developing independent living, social, and interpersonal skills appropriate to their developmental level.Utilize trauma-informed, strength-based, and person-centered interventions.Reinforce treatment goals established by the therapist and treatment team.

    Care Coordination

    Maintain ongoing communication with clients, families, schools, healthcare providers, and community partners.Coordinate referrals and follow-up appointments.Assist families in navigating community resources and behavioral health services.Collaborate with therapists and other clinical staff to ensure continuity of care.

    Documentation & Compliance

    Complete progress notes within 24 hours of service delivery.Maintain timely, accurate, and complete documentation in accordance with Medicaid, payer, agency, and regulatory requirements.Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and organizational policies.Protect all Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII).Meet established productivity, documentation, and quality assurance standards.

    Community Outreach

    Represent Butterfly Support Services at schools, community events, health fairs, and outreach activities.Develop relationships with referral sources, community organizations, healthcare providers, and educational partners.Educate families and community stakeholders regarding available behavioral health services.

    Professional Responsibilities

    Minimum Qualifications

    High School Diploma or GED required.Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Education, Criminal Justice, or a related field preferred.Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with youth, families, behavioral health, education, or human services.Must be at least 21 years of age.Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, current automobile insurance, and an acceptable driving record.Successful completion of all required background checks.Ability to work independently in school and community settings.

    Position Summary

    The School-Based Case Manager provides school-based and community-based behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and families enrolled in Butterfly Support Services.
