    Your Impact and Key Responsibilities

    As the Senior Manager, you will be the definitive authority for all sterile processing operations, quality, and compliance across both our Torrance and San Pedro campuses.

    Strategic Leadership and Operations

    Multi-Site Oversight: Direct, unify, and standardize all SPD operations across both medical centers, ensuring seamless service and high-quality instrument turnover to support busy Operating Rooms, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, and Interventional Suites.

    Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute a long-term strategic plan for Sterile Processing, focusing on technology adoption, process automation, and facility modernization.

    Budget & Fiscal Management: Take full ownership of the departmental operating and capital budgets. Apply your analytical skills to manage expenses, optimize resource allocation, and drive cost-saving efficiencies while maintaining premium quality.

    Quality & Compliance: Serve as the subject matter expert and compliance officer, ensuring strict adherence to all regulatory standards (AAMI, AORN, TJC, CMS, etc.) and leading continuous performance improvement initiatives.

    People and Culture Development

    Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and empower a high-performing SPD leadership team and staff. Implement robust training, competency validation, and career development pathways.Collaboration: Build strong, trust-based relationships with physicians, surgeons, OR nurses, and materials management to enhance communication, resolve issues proactively, and foster a collaborative Perioperative environment.
