Experience with Hatch-Waxman IP litigation, life sciences IP litigation and Markman hearings is a plus. Experience handling matters before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), the International Trade Commission (ITC), and the Federal Circuit is highly desired. Paralegal will assist with all aspects of litigation and case management. The successful candidate will be proactive, detail oriented, and experienced in handling US and foreign trademark portfolio management, trademark searches, prosecution, enforcement, and conducting research. Duties will include but are not limited to preparing and filing trademark applications, responses to office actions, statements of use, various declarations, IR/Madrid international applications, WIPO renewals, CPI docketing and reporting, due diligence, TTAB proceedings, preparing cost estimates for filing applications and renewals, drafting and filing copyright applications, conducting due diligence related to patents, copyrights, and domain names, and handling reporting notices received from foreign associates, USPTO, WIPO, TTAB, and the Copyright Office. Paralegal will be responsible for corresponding and communicating with foreign associates and clients, and assisting with special projects and other tasks as needed.
