    Bunker Hill Mine is seeking a skilled Underground Electrician to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of underground mining equipment and infrastructure. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems throughout the mine. The ideal candidate has strong industrial electrical experience, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic underground mining environment while ensuring compliance with MSHA regulations and company safety standards. 

    Duties & Responsibilities 
    Install, maintain, and repair underground electrical systems, including power distribution equipment, substations, transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, and grounding systems. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues on underground mining equipment such as loaders, drills, and haul trucks. Perform preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams. Support critical mine infrastructure including ventilation, pumping, hoisting, and dewatering systems. Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and verify de-energization before performing work. Ensure compliance with MSHA, OSHA, and company safety requirements. Respond to emergency equipment breakdowns and perform timely repairs under underground operating conditions. Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to support production goals. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation. Experience Requirements 
    High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 3–5 years of industrial or mining electrical experience. Strong knowledge of three-phase power systems, motor controls, and PLC troubleshooting. Experience working with underground mining equipment and environments preferred. Valid driver’s license required. Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent experience strongly preferred. MSHA Part 48 Underground Certification preferred. Experience with CMMS systems, telematics, and advanced diagnostics is a plus. Prior experience in hard rock or narrow-vein underground mining operations is preferred. Demonstrated commitment to safety, teamwork, accountability, quality workmanship, and problem-solving. Physical Requirements 
    Ability to work in confined underground spaces and varying environmental conditions, including heat, cold, moisture, and dust. Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver tools and materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and navigate uneven ground and underground terrain. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators and protective gear. Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as operational needs require. About Us

    Duties & Responsibilities 
    Lead development and optimization of short, mid, and long-term underground mine plans aligned with production and cost objectives. Design underground mine layouts including stopes, development headings, access, ventilation, and ground support systems. Prepare and maintain production schedules, forecasts, and mine designs using industry-standard software (Deswik preferred). Conduct trade-off studies and economic evaluations to optimize mining methods and sequencing. Provide technical support to operations, including drill and blast design, dilution control, and stope performance analysis. Collaborate with Geology to integrate resource models, grade control data, and reconciliation results into mine plans. Support budgeting, cost control, and capital project evaluation processes. Ensure compliance with MSHA regulations and company safety standards. Mentor and support development of junior engineering staff. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and efficiency. Experience Requirements

The Metallurgical Technician is an active leader in Bunker Hill’s zero-incident safety culture and works closely with Operations, Engineering, Environmental, and Health & Safety teams.

    Duties & Responsibilities 
    Collect representative samples from stockpiles, conveyors, and process slurry streams using approved sampling techniques.  Prepare samples for analysis, including vacuum filtration, drying ovens, moisture determination, and other laboratory preparation methods.  Conduct on‑site metallurgical testing to assess plant performance, mineral/metal content, moisture, and other relevant properties.  Document, track, and manage sample data including location, time, method, and chain of custody in logs or databases.  Coordinate sampling schedules and shipment of samples for off‑site laboratory analysis.  Maintain, inspect, and calibrate sampling and laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.  Monitor and analyze plant performance data and communicate trends, deviations, and concerns to Operations and Engineering.  Provide technical support to plant operations and maintenance, including troubleshooting metallurgical and process issues.  Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to maximize throughput, recovery, and utilization of installed equipment.  Respond to and investigate significant deviations from production plans and operating targets.Collaborate with Environmental and Safety departments to support industrial hygiene, inspections, and regulatory compliance.Position Requirements

    Duties & Responsibilities
