Lead Building Engineer Job Summary:
The Lead Building Engineer performs building operations, customer service, and community enhancement. We’re looking for someone who will complete or assist with tasks related to electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, heating, and other trades within a commercial building. Daily duties will include working with the property management team to perform preventive maintenance, respond to service tickets, and provide a safe environment for building tenants and visitors.

PRIMARY BUILDING ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform building and systems inspections, making necessary modifications to building systemsComplete Preventive and Corrective Maintenance requests professionallyWork with vendors to complete contracted work orders to meet expectationsMaintain records, reports, and evaluations, and provide recommendations regarding necessary building maintenance operationsIdentify and help to order parts, materials, equipment, and supplies that are neededManage Building Management System (BMS) / Energy Management System (EMS) as directed by Lead/Chief EngineerMaintain a clean engineering shop, mechanical plant, mechanical rooms, and general appearanceFollow all safety rules and regulationsPerform related work as requiredQUALIFICATIONS:
3 - 5 years maintaining equipment and systems in commercial buildingsPossess demonstrated high-level mechanical skills and abilities with HVAC equipmentHigh-level experience and skills in operating, troubleshooting, maintaining, installing, and repairing equipmentBasic technology skills necessary to manage work order applications on mobile phone and learn to operate Building Automation SystemsHigh School diploma or equivalent, and must be able to communicate effectively in EnglishOccasionally work overtime to perform necessary repairs or maintenance that are necessary to complete during off-hoursMust meet the occupation requirements, such as lifting 50 lbs., walking distances, kneeling for 1 hour, and climbing ladders.Must have reliable transportationMust possess a CFC Universal certification Read LessSenior Maintenance Technician Job Summary:
