Responsibilities
Plan games and activities that are developmentally appropriateDesign a daily and weekly scheduleProvide basic care and caregiving activitiesEvaluate children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestonesCommunicate with parents and update them on their childrens activities
Qualifications
Must have bachelor's degree in early childhood education or enrolled in a Master's study planPrevious experience as a daycare teacher or childcare providerStrong understanding of child developmentPatient, kind, and nurturingExcellent organizational, communication, and time management skillsFirst aid/CPR certifiedPreferred Certifications (a plus, but not required):
NYC Food Protection Certificate especially helpful if supervising food handling or snack prepFDNY Certificates of Fitness (F-07 and S-95)Bi-llingualBenefits/Perks
