We are partnering with large U.S. general contractors managing active data center and industrial construction projects across Louisiana, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Arizona. These are compressed, high-stakes builds where someone needs to keep the documentation tight, the trades coordinated, and the schedule honest. As a Project Engineer , you will sit between the field and the office — managing RFIs, processing submittals, coordinating subcontractors, and staying close enough to the work to catch problems before they become delays. It is one of the most important roles on a fast-moving job site, and one of the best ways to build a construction career in the U.S. This role is a strong fit for recent engineering graduates looking for their first U.S. project experience, as well as engineers with a few years under their belt who want to step into a bigger environment. Note: a bachelor's degree in engineering is required — it is a firm requirement for TN and H-1B1 visa eligibility, not a preference. What you will do: Apply engineering principles to support project execution: reviewing submittals, interpreting drawings, and providing technical input to the team Manage the RFI process: log, route, track, and review technical responses Process submittals and shop drawings for conformance with project specifications Support schedule tracking in coordination with the project manager Coordinate with MEP, structural, and civil subcontractors on technical issues and sequencing Conduct site walks to monitor progress and verify installations comply with drawings Maintain project documentation including daily reports, meeting minutes, and as-built records What we are looking for: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, required for visa eligibility Recent graduates and engineers with 1+ years of construction experience are welcome to apply Familiarity with Procore, Primavera P6, or Bluebeam is a plus Any exposure to MEP systems, construction sequencing, or subcontractor coordination is an advantage Professional English, written and spoken. RFIs, submittals, and daily communication are in English Compensation and benefits: $100,000 - $130,000 USD annual salary Full relocation package included — flights, first-month housing, and moving support Visa fully sponsored: TN for Mexico and Canada, H-1B1 for Chile and Singapore. TN Visa (USMCA): Mexican and Canadian nationals. Classified under the Engineer TN category. No cap, no lottery. BuildCorridor's support letter documents the engineering nature of the role. H-1B1 (Free Trade Agreement): Chilean and Singaporean nationals. Engineering degree required. No lottery, separate cap. Full petition managed by BuildCorridor's counsel. What to expect: Once you apply, we review your profile and reach out if there is a fit. We verify your credentials and English, and introduce you to the client when ready. If selected, we manage the entire visa process — you sign one document. We provide support beyond recruiting to help you and your family settle — housing guidance, community connections, and check-ins for your first 90 days. To apply: Click Apply on LinkedIn. We review applicants on a rolling basis. #J-18808-Ljbffr Read Less
