Job Title: Warehouse Helper
Department: National Operations
Reports To: VP Inside Operations
Role Summary
Assist with loading and unloading, and to provide efficient warehousing and storage services, minimize damage of customer property going into and out of storage.
Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Open and or close the warehouse. Load and unload pallets and trucks in a safe and efficient manner.Pad and wrap furniture and fixtures in warehouse. Build storage pallets and crates.Ensure warehouse facilities are neat and well organized.Assist warehouse supervisor with inventory control.Stock packing material.Pull packing orders for drivers.Compact used boxes in compactorMaintain forklift certification.Ability to process shipments, checking off and exceptions.Train new/temporary/summer hires on padding, wrapping and vaulting.Assist the Facilities Department when needed.Other tasks as assigned or requested by supervisor / manager.Compensation
Hourly Range: $20 -$23 per hour
