What you'll do
Ensure adherence to individual service plans and administer prescribed treatments.Conduct meaningful rounds with residents and record visits on charts.Administer injections, perform in-house testing procedures, and record vital signs.Supervise and assign duties to nurse aides, monitor their work, and assist in carrying out the activities program.Communicate with physicians and follow through with orders. Handle medication preparation, administration, and documentation.Monitor condition of medication room, cart, and refrigerator.Chart accurately and in accordance with facility policy and state guidelines.What you'll bring:

Complete home studies for potential foster parents as part of the licensing process as required.Participate in in-service training, including SAMA, CPR/First Aid, Medications and any other clinical related training. Knowledge and experience must meet Texas Minimum Standards for Child Placing Agencies.Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in social work or other human services field required.Requires a minimum of 2 years prior related experience.Requires ability to drive assigned vehicle(s) or personal vehicle, with appropriate state license, following all laws applicable; must provide proof of liability insurance and must be eligible to be insured under Buckner's insurance policy.
