    Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSummary: The candidate will be responsible for testing customer products using the Automated Optical Inspection machine, to ensure they meet all required specifications prior to being released to the next process or shipping.

    Job Duties:

    Accurately perform automated optical (AOI) inspection of assemblies, including shutdown and start-up.Perform equipment non-routine and weekly/monthly preventative maintenance.Understand all production processes that relate to inspection; use industry standards and good judgement in determining acceptable standards. Read and comprehend documentation, such as customer-supplied drawings, parts lists, etc.Act as an authorized agent to stop manufacturing when nonconformances are noted and report any errors or major discrepancies to the group leader and/or management immediately, so immediate corrective action may be taken.Record all AOI daily run information, keep accurate and detailed records.Keep rejected product segregated from accepted.Assist with visual inspection, as needed.Responsible for compliance with BSU’s Quality Management System and other regulatory and statutory requirements as required by the customer.Accountable for accepting responsibility for continuous on the job training by actively participating in training.Other duties as assigned. Requirements:

    AOI and/or Inspection of electronic assembly helpful and inspection experience preferred.Familiar with electronics components: resistors, capacitors, diodes, inductors, transistors, ICs, etc...Ability to read schematics, follow procedures and apply computer skills and knowledge to resolve technical problems. Education:

    Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBSU Inc. is a dynamic and fast-growing Electronic Manufacturing and Design company.

    Summary: The candidate is responsible for the assembly of complex cable and wire harness assemblies.  The candidate must demonstrate quality workmanship and produce high quality assemblies that exceed our customer’s expectations, in accordance with industry standards.

    Job Duties:

    1.       Ability to read and follow wire harness assembly instructions/blueprints2.       Cut and strip wire to specifications3.       Crimp terminals to wire ends4.       Install and shrink insulation sleeving5.       Install cable ties6.       Route, wire, and assemble electronic components using wire layout fixtures7.       Operate equipment such as crimp presses, wire twisters and wire strippers8.       Conducts functional and continuity tests of wire harnesses and cable assemblies using friendly test fixtures9.       Use of a solder iron to solder wires to switches or connectors10.   Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process assemblies and finished products11.   Work with minimal supervision from the Production Department Supervisor12.   Other duties as assigned. 

    Requirements:

    Wire/Cable harness assembly experience is a mustFamiliar with IPC J-STD-001 and IPC/WHMA-A-620Minimum of 4+ years’ experience in a manufacturing/assembly lineExpected to read and comprehend process documentation including Bills of Materials and Assembly drawingsExpected to communicate well in English both verbally and in written formatCandidates should be very organized with the ability to keep count of partsCandidates should have the ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions Education:

    1.       High school diploma2.       associate Degree (preferred)
