    Summary: The candidate is responsible for the assembly of complex cable and wire harness assemblies.  The candidate must demonstrate quality workmanship and produce high quality assemblies that exceed our customer’s expectations, in accordance with industry standards.

    Job Duties:

    1.       Ability to read and follow wire harness assembly instructions/blueprints2.       Cut and strip wire to specifications3.       Crimp terminals to wire ends4.       Install and shrink insulation sleeving5.       Install cable ties6.       Route, wire, and assemble electronic components using wire layout fixtures7.       Operate equipment such as crimp presses, wire twisters and wire strippers8.       Conducts functional and continuity tests of wire harnesses and cable assemblies using friendly test fixtures9.       Use of a solder iron to solder wires to switches or connectors10.   Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process assemblies and finished products11.   Work with minimal supervision from the Production Department Supervisor12.   Other duties as assigned. 

    Requirements:

    Summary: BSU has an immediate opening for a Stockroom clerk. This position requires good inventory control skills as well as the ability to multitask and to work independently.

    Job Duties:


    Electronic part recognition.Picking of electrical components needed for production floor.Inventory Control tasks such as cycle-counting and replenishment of on-hand inventory.Supporting production by providing kits and electrical parts for electronic board assembly.Minimal clerical duties may be required, such as generating labels, entering items into the inventory system, entering items onto Excel worksheets, etc.Maintaining inventory of shipping materials and supplies.Other duties as assigned.


    Requirements:


    At least 5 years experience in stockroom in a manufacturing environment.Expected to read and comprehend process documentation.Expected to communicate well in English both verbally and in written format.Candidates should be very organized with the ability to keep count of parts.Experience in Pick/Pack/Ship or assembly/production experience in a light manufacturing and/or warehouse environment is preferred.Experience with common Manufacturing/Distribution Center tasks such as picking, packing, receiving, stocking, and knowledge of related documents and/or MRP operation preferredExperience with BOMs, SOPs, and work instructions is preferredKnowledge of basic Windows-based PC functionality and the ability to accurately type at a reasonable pace are required.
