What You'll Do:
Ensure client’s vision is met through design, function and detailed drawingsDevelop an optimal design solution for the project that meets client’s needs and represents the company’s standard quality of designPresent design solutions to the clientMaintain constant professional communications with client, project team and consultants Manage all aspects associated with projects including proposals, exhibits, contracts, project budget and profitabilityDevelop a schedule of integrated tasks required to accomplish individual projects; monitor progress toward the deliverable scheduleOversee development of fully coordinated quality design documentsCreate focus within the studio discipline on improving project outcomes – client satisfaction, design leadership, overall quality, staff engagement/communication and project profitabilityFollow Core Processes using design tools, project management tools and technology techniques across the discipline to ensure consistency in how projects are deliveredWork collaboratively with design leaders to elevate the quality of design on all projectsMentor Interior Designers – provide training and leadership through project work to empower, train and develop staffEducation and Experience:

We are seeking a Senior Systems Integration Designer to join our Indianapolis (Carmel, IN) or Raleigh, NC studio. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced low-voltage systems professional to serve as a subject matter expert on highly technical projects. What You'll Do:
Serve as a trusted advisor to client leadership, translating complex business needs into technical requirements, managing expectations and facilitating meetings.Lead project visioning, design option evaluation, and long-term technology planning aligned with client goals.Develop detailed technical designs and system architecture for complex enterprise low-voltage systems, including communications, security and audiovisual.Promote adoption of modern technologies based on research-driven data and industry best practices.Collaborate across disciplines to ensure seamless integration of systems, drawings and specifications.Review cost estimates, provide contractor feedback, and support quality assurance through site surveys and field inspections.Contribute to project planning, workplans, and fee development while ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.Maintain active certifications and stay current with evolving technologies/industry trends through ongoing professional development.Education and Experience:
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.Experience: 10-15 years of low-voltage systems design experience.
