BSA is seeking a Senior Architect, Project Manager in our Austin Studio that wants to join a firm that specializes in creating places that support, enhance and inspire healing, learning and discovery. This role is responsible for managing large-scale, complex projects, ensuring successful outcomes in terms of both financial performance and timely delivery.
What You’ll Do:
In this role, you will lead large, complex projects within the Healing, Learning, or Discovery markets, ensuring smooth project delivery and that all contractual obligations are met. You will collaborate closely with Principals to address challenges, manage project scope, and build strong client relationships to ensure successful outcomes. You’ll also communicate necessary adjustments in staffing, scheduling, or deliverables to maintain profitability goals. Additionally, you will provide construction phase management services, including oversight of the project budget, schedule, submittal register, and documentation. You’ll lead progress meetings, coordinate quality reviews, oversee project profitability and budget, and resolve issues related to delays, safety compliance, and quality concerns, all while managing change orders to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and in line with contractual requirements.
Education and Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s of Master’s degree in Architecture Licensure: Licensed Architect with current registration: NCARB certification preferred. Experience: Minimum of 15 years related professional experience and/or 10 years experience in project management and proven experience. Strong focus in healthcare projects preferred. Experience on larger projects, with more oversight of the project scope, is required. Skills: Ability to guide teams in delivering high-quality solutions that address client challenges, with a focus on strategic decision-making.Proficiency in relevant software, including Revit, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to adjust staffing, deliverables, schedule, and scope to align with project needs and financial goals.Deep knowledge of architectural design, development, and detailing, with the ability to oversee the technical and creative aspects of project delivery.Why BSA?
