    JOB SUMMARY Under the mentorship of the General Manager, the Leader in Development will undertake a year-long rotational program designed to foster a comprehensive understanding of truck dealership management. This role will actively engage with the Parts, Service, and Sales departments, aiding in everyday operations, offering customer service, and spearheading at least one department-specific project. This position performs a variety of routine duties within established policies and procedures and receives detailed instructions on new projects and assignments. The role requires navigating through various departments - Parts, Service, Sales - to acquire knowledge in critical dealership operations, such as customer interactions, inventory control and management, logistics, truck and equipment sales, vehicle financing, and business office operations. This program aims to develop leadership capabilities by exposing the participant to practical experiences in a dynamic truck dealership environment over a 12-month period.ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS AND PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIESPlanning• Assist in the planning and execution of one or more department-specific projects, under the guidance of senior managers, including setting goals, identifying necessary resources, and establishing timelines.• Develop a roadmap for transitioning through the various departments in the dealership to ensure a comprehensive understanding of each department's functions.• Assist in the strategic planning of inventory control, ensuring that parts and vehicles are adequately stocked according to projected sales.• Help in planning marketing and promotional activities in collaboration with the Sales team to boost vehicle sales and services.• Participate in the financial planning process for the dealership, including helping to set budgets and sales targets.• Participate in Safety Committee meetings, assisting in the development of safety protocols and emergency response plans for the dealership.Operations • Assist in daily operational tasks within the Parts, Service, and Sales departments, following established policies and procedures.• Engage in customer service activities, such as addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and fostering strong customer relationships.• Contribute to inventory management and control operations, tracking parts and vehicle stocks, and maintaining appropriate records.• Participate in the sales process for trucks and equipment, including assisting customers, conducting demonstrations, and facilitating vehicle financing.• Collaborate with the Service team to ensure timely and efficient service and maintenance of vehicles.• Help manage logistics operations, including arranging for the transport of vehicles to and from the dealership.• Serve as a member of the dealership's Safety Committee, actively contributing to discussions, policy developments, and implementation of safety measures.• Ensure compliance with established safety protocols in all dealership departments, providing guidance and clarification when needed.• Perform other related duties as required or assigned.Reporting • Compile and present regular reports on department-specific projects, including the status of the project, any challenges faced, and steps taken to overcome them.• Contribute to the preparation of financial reports, including sales revenue, operational costs, and budget usage.• Assist in the creation of inventory reports, detailing current stocks of parts and vehicles, and predicting future inventory needs based on sales trends.• Participate in the compilation of customer service reports, capturing customer interactions, satisfaction levels, and areas for improvement.• Help in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports, detailing the number of vehicles and parts sold, identifying trends, and making recommendations for future sales strategies.• Assist in the development of detailed incident reports in the event of safety incidents or violations, including a thorough analysis of the incident, its cause, and proposed preventative measures for the future.POSITION REQUIREMENTSEducation & Experience • Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate of a four-year undergraduate program from an accredited college, preferably in Business, Management, Logistics, or a related field.• Demonstrated strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask across different roles and responsibilities.• Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team, and a track record of successful interactions with peers, clients, and management.• Exhibits a customer-focused mindset, with a commitment to providing exceptional service and support.• Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying ideas and information clearly and effectively.• Has a proven track record of delivering academic team projects successfully and on time, demonstrating project management skills.• Aspires to build a career in supply chain, distribution, sales, or dealership operations and is prepared to commit to a full-time, year-long rotational program. Prior experience or coursework in the dealership, automotive or sales field will be advantageous.

    JOB SUMMARY

    Service Techs must be able to complete diagnosis of any mechanical, electrical, or other various failures/breakdowns of a truck or its related equipment. This position will also perform disassembly, repair, and reassembly of truck engines, transmissions, carrier assemblies, clutches, brakes, electrical systems, and any other truck or related equipment adjustment/repairs.

    ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS AND PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIESUses all tools of trade, including precision instruments, shop machines.Able to read and understand technical publications, including service manuals and service bulletins and is able to use information contained in them to do their own work and to assist others concerning the content. Must be able to determine usability of all component parts and must be able to list and order all needed parts using the dealer management system.Must be able to complete work accurately and timely as outlined in published time standards manual.Must be able to write a good description of all work performed on each individual repair using the dealer management system. Ability to perform all aspects of the job safely and in accordance with OSHA and Bruckner’s rules and regulations expressed and implied.Understands the importance of attendance and punctuality and how they affect customer service. Is a good steward of company tools and resources.Achieves and maintains certifications as required by the company, the OEM’s or by Federal Law.

    POSITION REQUIREMENTSEducation & Experience:High School Diploma desired.Minimum 2 years as a mechanic.Must possess and use good interpersonal skills and have the ability to interact well with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a positive and constructive manner.Must be able to read and write in English and understand computer generated reports, office reports, invoices, etc.Must be able to operate various computer diagnostic devices, PC’s and laptops.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDSInvolves essential ability to maneuver around, in, on and under trucks in order to properly inspect and diagnose all types of problems and repairs.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Must be able to lift 50 pounds to the waist and 25 pounds to the shoulder.

    SUMMARY OF DUTIES:Greet customers and initiate the write up process. Determine the customer’s needs and convey this information onto the repair order. Responsible for providing supporting documents to determine warranty coverage and open campaigns. Document requests by the customer such as determining method of payment, arrangements to pick up or deliver the vehicle, authorizations, purchase order numbers and any other job functions as required. Acquire customer approvals, provide estimates, book & close all service tickets considered as waiters. Assist with closing other repair orders as needed. Answer incoming service phone calls. Maintain product knowledge as the Liaison between the Service Department and the customer.

    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:Must have good communication skills and the ability to interact well with customers, vendors and co-workers in a positive and constructive manner.This is a safety-sensitive position for which impairment while on the job would present a substantial risk. As a condition of employment, the applicant must submit to pre-employment testing for marijuana. The position is exempt from the state law prohibiting preemployment testing for cannabis use.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    Must be able to pass physical, including drug test. Must maintain a professional appearance. Involves essential ability to climb around, on and under trucks in order to properly inspect and diagnose all types of problems and repairs.     JOB SUMMARY

    He/she is responsible for the safe, efficient, and profitable operation of the Service Department. Advises and makes recommendations to Management with respect to the best interests of the Service Department and compatible with the overall objectives.

    ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS AND PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIESDevelop and follow annual service budget based on labor hours attainable and measurable. Service profit goals compatible with overall dealership financial and operational objectives. Labor sales to be monitored on a monthly basis to assure achievement of goals. Develop and implement annually a Service marketing and promotion plan in order to generate labor sales.
    Provide the leadership role for the justification of, then the recruitment, screening, hiring, training, and development of Service personnel. Maintains all management reports necessary to audit the performance of the Service Department and individual employees on a monthly basis.Audits work orders for completeness and accuracy prior to customer billing.Develop, maintain, and adheres to a priority system for scheduling all Service work, both customer and internal.Schedules and assigns jobs and work areas to employees according to their skills and knowledge. This will be accomplished in a manner to eliminate time lost between jobs.Ensures that all required manufacturer warranty, safety, emission, and product improvement programs are complete in a timely manner.Meets with Sales and Parts Managers monthly to evaluate and maintain inter-departmental relations, to address concerns and integrate plans to maximize dealership performance and attain high levels of customer satisfaction.Periodically visits primary customers to monitor customer relations for the purpose of evaluating their service needs, problems, and satisfaction with distributorship performance.Evaluate on a monthly and random basis, the performance of the Service Department and employees, through general observations and use of time management labor reports.Coordinate Dealership technical programs and service related training sessions.Ensures that necessary shop tools, and service equipment are available and maintained in good order.Makes recommendations regarding the purchases of Service vehicles and maintain fleet in a manner to provide a profitable operation.Performs other duties or functions as so directed by Management in line with the objectives of the Company.Must help to insure safe working conditions for all employees.

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    High school diploma required, continuing course in Management also required. Minimum four years as a mechanic and at least 2 years as a shop foreman or lead mechanic. Must be able to read and write English. He/ she should be able to read computer generated reports, office reports, invoices, etc. Also will be required to operate computer terminals.

    Special Skills:

    Must possess and use good interpersonal skills and have the ability to interact well with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a positive and constructive manner. Must also have and maintain a Commercial Drivers License (CDL).

    Physical Demands:

    In partnership with the Louisiana GMs, VP of Sales, and the Corporate Used Truck Manager, this position utilizes our companies Core Values to: strategically plan and organize sales opportunities and potential sales growth in the stores AOR, provide sales team and/or customer problem resolution, develop our Louisiana Sales team to achieve high performance sales activity, manage the Louisiana Truck inventory, and train the Louisiana sales team concerning product knowledge and application specific technical details.

    JOB SUMMARY:

    He/ she is responsible for calling on prospective customers from a list furnished by the Company. May have to deliver parts as needed.

    Responsible for calling on prospective customers from a list furnished by the Company. May deliver parts as needed.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    Answer customer’s phone calls and fills orders from inventory.Must be able to access parts information from computer and CD-ROM’s, check availability, pricing and substitutions.Be familiar with quality improvement bulletins, service bulletins, and vehicle updates or modifications to advise customers of parts replacement needs.Stock necessary parts on and off outside vans and pickups.Check available credit on customer’s account after delivery of any parts.Collect payment from customers that are past due.Accept payment from cash or C.O.D. customers at time of delivery.Examine returned parts or cores for any defect after issuing credit.Issue credit for cores or returned parts immediately after examining for defects.Research customer’s account for proper invoice to issue credit for returned parts or cores.Research for potential new customers for parts sales.Fill out proper paperwork for any part covered under warranty. Return paperwork and part to warranty clerk.Keep vehicle clean, presentable and fully maintained. QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma required; minimum 2 years experience with heavy duty truck parts, and automotive parts.Must be able to read and write English. Must be able to interact successfully with customers, and co-workers.Must have and maintain a clean driving record.Be able to keep good records, fill out and hand in call sheets at the end of each week, and bring any customer problems to the attention of the Parts Manager.Must have the mental flexibility to handle stressful situations.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:He/ she must be able to drive long distances.Be able to lift 50 lbs from floor to waist high, and 25 lbs to shoulder high.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
