About the Role: Duties: Performs mammography examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated mammography equipment, taking into account individual patient's special or age-related needs. Utilizes knowledge and judgment in regard to imaging factors, imaging technique, and patient treatment needed to produce optimal images. Responsibilities: Perform mammography examinations according to physicians' orders. Utilize sophisticated mammography equipment. Consider individual patient's special or age-related needs. Apply knowledge and judgment regarding imaging factors and techniques. Ensure optimal images are produced for patient treatment. Qualifications: Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. Upon hire: Oregon Radiographer License Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Registered Technologist - Mammography Required Skills: Proficiency in mammography techniques. Ability to operate sophisticated mammography equipment. Strong knowledge of imaging factors and patient treatment. Preferred Skills Experience in a hospital setting. Additional certifications in radiologic technology.
