    This position makes ready and runs laminating station by performing the following duties.

    Using the job jacket establishes what materials are needed on the job. Care must be taken in selecting proper laminate. Sets-up and adjust proper alignment and pressure of laminate to be applied. Performs in-process quality checks of jobs as required by procedures. Keeps count of completed product on each run to record numbers on the job jacket. At end of shift operator cleans area, equipment and informs supervisor of any mechanical, material or other problems that caused issues during the day. Requirements:

    High school degree or general education (GED); three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to communicate one-on-one with other employees. Skill to complete basic math skills; add, subtract, etc. Skill to apply common sense understanding to carry work details. Knowledge of laminate materials and laminating process in finishing.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk and stoop; use hands and arms to reach, handle or feel and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.

    Essential Job Functions:

    Jobs to run are selected by production priority system Load material to be die cut. Load die need to run job, and select die set-up on machine, if the die does not match up to the art, operator will check availability of a replacement die. If no die is found to match art, notify Supervisor of the problem and art corrections will have to be made and the job reprinted. When ready to run operator will load uptake and die cut material cores and set-up material slit process. Sign off jacket when job is complete and move to holding cart. As needed the operator will wipe down rollers with alcohol. When cutting residue builds up on rollers, operator will shut down machine and clean the rollers. At end of shift operator cleans area and informs supervisor of any problems that caused issues during the day. Requirements:

    High school degree or general education (GED); six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to communicate one-on-one with other employees.
