Our Commercial Licensed Drivers are a familiar sight around the community. From filling ATMs to servicing local banks and businesses, our CDL drivers are working to keep commerce moving. It's more than getting cash and valuables from point A to point B; it's a fast-paced environment that requires vigilance about your surroundings and trust in your fellow team members to ensure commerce in the community keeps moving.

    The CDL Driver Role:

    As a CDL Driver, you're responsible for safely driving and controlling Brink's vehicles to and from various customer sites and guarding the Cash Transport Guard at pick-up & delivery locations. In this high-profile driver role, you will enforce the rules that protect the premises and property of Brink's and its customers, as well as the safety of persons on the premises of Brink's and its customers.
    Guard and maintain the safety, security, and control of the armored vehicle and liability at all timesGuard and maintain the safety and security of your team at all timesMaintain radio communication with the Cash Transport Guard and other vehicle crew during pick-up and delivery of liabilityMaintain radio communication with the branch and/or dispatch personnelLoad and unload the armored vehicleComplete appropriate driving and delivery documentationReport all faults experienced during the day's activityEnsure overall cleanliness of the vehicle's interiorCross-train and perform other duties as assignedGuard liability and assets

    The Qualifications You Must Have:
    Minimum of 21 years of ageAble to lift at least 50 poundsMinimum of Class B licenseSatisfy all applicable Department of Transportation requirementsA valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms licensing requirementsA valid guard card or ability to obtain a guard card or any other required licensesChauffeur's license OR ability to obtain one (Indiana, Louisiana, and Michigan residents only)Ability to satisfactorily complete and maintain all required internal training applicable to the position.Ability to pass pre-employment verification, background check and drug screening as permitted by applicable law.

    Job Summary:
    The OTR - Tractor Trailer Driver is responsible for safely driving/controlling the Brink's vehicles to and from various customer pick-up and delivery locations. This position requires the enforcement of rules to protect the premises and property of Brink's and its customers, as well as the safety of persons on the premises of Brink's and its customers. In addition the position will interface with other BGS Internal branches, with division customers and where necessary perform security and safety functions at said locations.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Maintain the safety, security and control of the tractor trailer unit at all timesGuard the Messenger/Co Driver during the actual delivery or pick up of valuables at a customer's location.Maintain radio communication with the Co-Driver/Messenger and/or other vehicle crew and with dispatch personnel/branch personnel throughout the delivery/shipping process.Ensure the safe and secure loading and offloading of the tractor trailer.Report all faults experienced during the trip/day's activity and ensure that all information is transmitted to branch leadershipComplete appropriate driving route documentationEnsure overall cleanliness of the vehicle's interiorCross-train and perform other duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications:
