Prior / recent QuickBooks ERP and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) experience required.
This role will play an important role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, inventory and COGS-related accounting, accounts receivable, and day-to-day accounting operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities to ensure timely, accurate, and reliable financial reportingOwn and improve recurring accounting workflows, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and general ledger maintenanceSupport accurate accounting for inventory, COGS, and product-related costs, ensuring financial reporting reflects operational realitiesPartner with Operations, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams to understand cost drivers, resolve accounting issues, and improve reporting accuracyOversee and improve accounts receivable processes, including customer payments, reconciliations, and related reportingReview and improve QuickBooks workflows to increase accuracy, reduce manual work, and support a cleaner month-end closeHelp document accounting processes, identify gaps or redundancies, and create clear SOPsMaintain and strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets and support GAAP complianceWork with external stakeholders, including auditors, third-party accounting partners, contractors, and our parent companySupport ad hoc accounting, reporting, and process improvement projects as neededQualifications:
