Job Overview
This is a cross-functional role with a primary focus on metal reconditioning and a secondary support role in warehouse operations. This cross-functional role focuses primarily on restoring, refinishing, and preparing electrical equipment enclosures for resale while also supporting warehouse operations as needed.

Key Responsibilities
Metal Reconditioning & Production
Paint and recondition metal components and equipmentSand, grind, clean, and prepare surfaces for finishingRemove rust, residue, and imperfectionsApply primer, coatings, and paint to company standardsMask and protect components during paintingInspect finished work for quality and consistencyPrepare and complete reconditioning and non-painting work ordersAssist with panelboard and switchboard assembly (cans, doors, interiors, breakers, hardware)Cross-train at least two employees in reconditioning processesEquipment & Safety

The Circuit Breaker Technician is responsible for the testing, diagnosis, repair, rebuilding, and certification of low- and medium-voltage circuit breakers in a production environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring circuit breakers meet company quality standards and customer expectations before shipment.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to producing quality work. Success in this role requires the ability to follow standardized testing and repair procedures, maintain accurate documentation, and consistently perform repetitive technical tasks with precision and attention to detail.
Previous experience with electrical equipment, industrial maintenance, repair, or manufacturing is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, dependability, and a willingness to learn.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Circuit Breaker Testing & Certification
Conduct functional testing of circuit breakers using stationary shop testing equipment to verify performance, reliability, and operational integrity.Evaluate breaker operation against company testing standards and manufacturer specifications.Identify defects, performance issues, wear patterns, and operational irregularities.Document testing procedures, results, and findings accurately and completely.Verify compliance with quality and safety standards before approving units for shipment.Troubleshoot failed test results and determine required repairs or adjustments.Circuit Breaker Repair & Rebuilding
Disassemble circuit breakers for inspection, cleaning, repair, and refurbishment.Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues affecting breaker performance.Replace worn, damaged, or defective components as required.Perform adjustments, recalibrations, and rebuild procedures to restore proper functionality.Reassemble and retest breakers to verify successful repair and compliance with specifications.Maintain consistency and accuracy throughout the rebuilding process.Collaborate with production and quality personnel to identify recurring failures and improve repair processes.Quality Control & Documentation
Maintain detailed records of testing, repairs, rebuilds, inspections, and equipment history.Complete work orders, repair reports, and quality documentation accurately and on time.Ensure all work meets company quality standards and customer requirements.Report defects, process concerns, and quality issues to management.Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and reliability.Inventory & Material Handling Support
Receive, inspect, unpack, and organize incoming circuit breakers and electrical equipment.Remove breakers from panelboards, switchboards, and other electrical distribution equipment.Assist with inventory control and organization of parts, tools, and consumable materials.Report low inventory levels and assist with maintaining adequate stock of repair components.Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely when required.Load and unload trucks while following company safety procedures.Shop Operations & Team Support
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area at all times.Properly care for and maintain tools, testing equipment, and workstations.Perform preventive maintenance on shop equipment as assigned.Coordinate with shipping and logistics personnel to ensure completed breakers are packaged and prepared for shipment.Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production priorities and job status.Assist with additional production-related duties as assigned.Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in electrical repair, industrial maintenance, manufacturing, production, or mechanical assembly environments preferred.Experience testing, troubleshooting, repairing, or rebuilding electrical or mechanical equipment is a plus.Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.Forklift experience or willingness to become forklift certified.Basic computer skills for documentation and recordkeeping.Core Competencies

Brilliant Equipment Services is seeking a highly organized and dependable Sales Support Specialist to support sales operations, customer service, and accounting functions with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP). This role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in industries such as electrical, construction, HVAC, industrial supply, or similar service-based industries. Experience with invoicing, purchase orders, freight logistics, vendor coordination, and customer account management is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP)
● Manage daily AR/AP functions with accuracy and attention to detail
● Process customer invoices, vendor bills, and customer payments
● Monitor aging reports and assist with collections and payment follow-up
● Ensure accurate recordkeeping and documentation for all financial transactions
● Reconcile discrepancies related to invoices, payments, freight charges, or vendor
billing
● Communicate professionally with customers and vendors regarding billing questions,
payment status, and account issues
● Maintain organized financial records within company systems
● Assist with credit applications, customer setup, and credit checks
● Support monthly reporting and financial tracking processes
2. Sales Support & Order Processing
● Support the sales team with administrative tasks, order processing, and daily
operational needs
● Process purchase orders and verify all required documentation is accurate and
complete
● Prepare and send power quotes accurately and in a timely manner
● Support the sales order lifecycle from inquiry through final payment
● Assist with “Sell To Us” opportunities, including coordination and documentation
● Assist with monthly sales reporting and tracking
● Maintain professional communication and represent the company positively at all
times
3. Customer & Vendor Coordination
● Build and maintain professional relationships with customers and vendors
● Resolve customer and vendor questions, issues, or documentation requests promptly
● Request Certificates of Insurance (COIs) for customers, vendors, and
decommissioning projects
● Assist with customer onboarding documentation and vendor setup requirements
4. Shipping & Logistics (Freight and UPS)
● Coordinate freight shipments, UPS shipments, and track delivery statuses
● Ensure shipping documentation is accurate and complete
● File freight claims and shipping claims as needed
● Communicate shipment details and updates with customers, vendors, and internal
teams
5. Administrative & Operational Support
● Answer and direct incoming calls from the main phone line to the appropriate team
member
● Arrange employee travel accommodations, including hotels, flights, and rental cars
● Maintain vehicle registrations and tax documentation
● Order and maintain office and warehouse supplies
● Maintain organized records and company documentation systems
6. Product Knowledge & Cross-Department Learning
● Develop a strong understanding of Brilliant Equipment Services’ products, including
breakers, disconnects, fuses, panelboards, transformers, and related electrical
equipment
● Learn inventory intake, listing, shipping, and operational processes through hands-on
training
● Participate in ongoing product and process training to strengthen industry knowledge
and operational efficiency
Preferred Qualifications
● 3+ years of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable experience required
● Prior experience in electrical, construction, HVAC, industrial supply, manufacturing, or
related industries strongly preferred
● Experience handling invoicing, purchase orders, freight coordination, and
vendor/customer account management
● Strong understanding of accounting processes and financial documentation
● Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software
● Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
● Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
● Proficiency with Gmail, spreadsheets, and business software systems
● Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team
