    The Vibrant Living Director at a Brightview community serves as a champion and coach to our team of associates and residents with an immediate and sustained goal of shaping and fostering a spirit of vibrant living in the community. In fact, this position is so focused on motivating, encouraging and ensuring that all of our residents live their fullest lives possible, that it officially carries the title of Vibrant Living Director.

    Responsibilities:

    In this role, you will provide leadership and direction to all associates with particular focus on guaranteeing the delivery of high quality and vibrant social, physical, educational and spiritual programs for all residents.

    You will also monitor trends and new developments in senior living and related fields and will support the development and execution of robust, varied, and meaningful programs. In addition, you will develop and share strategies and best practices, serve as a project manager for company-wide initiatives and wellness initiatives, and will be charged with developing and implementing efficient strategies and tools to measure resident participation and satisfaction. This is a critical role within the Brightview community leadership team, and allows for the opportunity to create a dramatic and positive impact on our residents' ability to live an active, vibrant life!

    Salary Range: USD $76,000.00 - USD $82,000.00 /Yr.

    Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a field that lends itself to the support of vibrant living in a senior environment; marketing, education or geriatrics preferred. Minimum of seven years of experience in a high energy, public role, three of which are in a leadership/supervisory capacity; preferred experience includes event or activities planning, sales, and/or training. Demonstrated ability to think creatively and influence others. Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to connect and communicate effectively with diverse audiences. Excellent written communication skills including proper grammar and professional writing. Ability to apply logic, reasoning and creative thinking to solve nebulous or complex problems and challenges. Experience working with in a multi-site environment. Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet based applications such as web conferencing. Ability to manage projects and to organize and manage multiple priorities. Knowledge of senior living regulations and safety considerations for working with seniors.     The Capital Project Manager is responsible for assisting the Director of Capital Projects, Regional Maintenance Directors and the Accounting Department in planning, executing, and delivering capital projects across Brightview Senior Living Communities.

    In this role, the Capital Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating the activities of projects to ensure cost, invoice processing, schedule, contracts, document control, and quality standards are met.

    Under the direction of the Director of Capital Projects, the Capital Project Manager will take on tasks to drive successful project outcomes, playing a critical role in supporting infrastructure development, community improvements, construction, building engineering and fleet management.

    Responsibilities: Consistently and genuinely demonstrate the STARS principles of Service, Teamwork, Action, Reputation and Success in all activities and interactions. Assist the Director of Capital Projects in all phases and aspects of the project(s) Work collaboratively with outside parties (i.e., the design team, contractors, 3 rd party vendors, etc.) to accomplish Brightview Senior Living's goals. Prepare all project meeting agendas and associated attachments as directed by the Director of Capital Projects Review Brightview Senior Living contracts and become familiar with terms & conditions. Distribute all short interval and overall project schedules, ensuring that communities and contractors have the most up to date schedules. Review project(s) scopes of work by Assisting Director of Capital Projects in the development of the overall project schedule. Assist contractor's work to obtain all necessary permits as required by the local jurisdiction having authority. Ability to review drawings and specifications to become completely familiar with the project(s) Complete sub evaluations/comparisons of bids, scope review and provide to the Director of Capital Projects Manage company's fleet vehicles through third party support vendors, including the purchasing of vehicles, assisting with insurance and warranty claims, and Federal U.S. Department of Transportation audits. Maintain tracking system and coordinate processes to ensure that all community contracts are renewed timely, in accordance with BV standards and polices, and saved/stored properly on network drives. Prepare and update on a monthly basis the Capital budget financial and scheduling status to the accounting department. Ensure contractor's W9, contracts, and insurance are current and received before contractor performs any work on site, following up on collection of all non-received documents and escalate any issues to the Director of Capital Projects Attend monthly department meetings as requested by the Director of Capital Projects and keep detailed meeting minutes for publishing to attendees. Support new communities with initial procurement, delivery and set-up of equipment and supplies orders; maintain, and update as appropriate, the standard start-up supply list. Assists the Executive Director in appropriately leading, managing, and motivating the team to consistently deliver services that meet or exceed our residents' expectations while continuing to improve the community status as an employer of choice in the market. Assures the implementation of hospitality focused services which may include vibrant living, maintenance, housekeeping, and dining services such to achieve the delivery of excellent services to our residents. Continually monitor the operations, physical plant, first impressions, associate interactions, and overall environment of assigned departments. Assists the Community Sales Director with marketing the community, including networking, public relations, and community events. Participates in development and execution of the Business Plan and budget goals for the community in addition to maintain budget goals for the community. Builds and trains Department Heads as assigned and their respective teams, optimizing individual and team performance through effective leadership, mentoring and training. Works closely and collaboratively with the Regional SME team in their respective area. Participates in the planning and execution of effective orientation and in-service training. Assists the Executive Director in assuring that the management team maintains timely, open, and effective communication with residents and family members. Effectively administers and participates in Brightview's "Manager on Duty" program. Participates in and attends all in-service training and education programs as scheduled. Acts as a backup to the Executive Director when they are not available. Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities:

    Supervisory responsibilities will be determined by community but generally consist of the direct oversight of a minimum of three up to five department heads; assists the Executive Director with the direction of the remaining Department Heads and all other associates as indirect reports. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with BVSL policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    Salary Range: USD $100,000.00 - USD $115,000.00 /Yr.

    Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent experience. One to three years of management experience in a similar environment. Proficient in MS Office products, internet and industry specific software programs for marketing, payroll and accounts payable/receivable. Meet state licensing requirements (where applicable). Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others. Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks. Problem analysis and resolution at both strategic and functional levels. Ability to effectively communicate in English.
