    What will you be doing?

    As a Lead Teacher, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care, according to NAEYC guidelines. Responsibilities include:

    • Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years in one assigned classroom.
    • Creating developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAEYC standards.
    • Curating programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
    • Maintaining a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
    • Partnering with families to create plans to provide the best care and education for their children.
    • Providing effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.

    Requirements:

    • Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education/related field OR Child Development Associate (CDA) credential OR Head Teacher certification OR 12 credits in Early Childhood Education courses OR Bachelor's Degree required
    • 2+ years of experience in a licensed child care facility preferred
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Ability to multitask and remain organized
    • Ability to work within regular operating hours
    • Must meet state criteria for child care employment

    Position Overview

    The New Site Development Specialist is a key member of the development team, supporting the company’s expansion strategy across the United States. This role is responsible for market research, board presentation compilation, site tracking, reporting, and cross-functional coordination to support new site development activities.

    Working closely with the Head of Development, financial analysts, and internal stakeholders, this position helps bring structure, accuracy, and consistency to a growing pipeline of development projects.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct market research for proposed new sites, including demographics and competitor analysis

    • Support site appraisal activities through research, data gathering, and analysis

    • Own the compilation of board-level presentation decks and supporting materials

    • Prepare reports, trackers, summaries, and other documentation to support development activity

    • Update and maintain site tracking and reporting tools

    • Coordinate meetings, follow-up items, and communication across development workstreams

    • Partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to support project progress and information flow

    • Maintain organized documentation and support efficient administrative processes across the team

    Education & Experience

    • Associate degree in Business, English, Writing, or a related field, or equivalent experience required

    • 2+ years of experience in an administrative, project coordination, development support, or similar business support role

    • Experience preparing reports, presentations, and professional documentation in a fast-paced environment

    • Familiarity with real estate and financial models is an asset

    Skills & Competencies

    • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills

    • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities

    • Comfortable working with financial, numerical, and research-based data

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the ability to work effectively within project tracking, reporting, and document management systems

    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
