Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Litigation Associate with approximately 6-8 years of experience to join our growing team in the Orlando, FL office. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong writing skills, courtroom exposure, and a proactive approach to managing cases.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle all phases of the litigation from pre-suit investigation through trial and appeal.Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda with minimal supervision.Take and defend depositions; prepare witnesses and clients for testimony.Attend court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.Manage client communications and expectations; participate in case strategy and development.Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex litigation matters.Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school.Admitted and in good standing with the Florida Bar.Minimum 6-8 years of litigation experience in a law firm or comparable legal setting.Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.Courtroom and deposition experience preferred.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.Preferred:
