We have a variety of opportunities in the Staunton and Waynesboro, Virginia area. These future employee-owners will contribute to the Branch's successful completion of projects in the heavy civil construction industry, including highways and site development. Safely operate a variety of tools including pressure washers, jackhammers, drills, pipe saws, grinders, jumping jack, and plate compactor. Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly Comply with all BCI, OSHA, or other relevant safety rules and regulations Conduct all business with a professional and respectful attitude Depending on position, duties could include some or all of the following: Positive attitude and work ethic Able to work independently or as an active member of a team Basic computer skills with iPad and MS office experience CDL license with hazmat and tanker endorsements required within 60 days 2-3 years operator experience DOT experience preferred Dependability, productivity, communicating effectively, following policies and procedures, working safely The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The position lifts heavy objects, walks and stands for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls or carries objects. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands). The position requires the ability to quickly move arms and legs.
