The Commercial Landscape Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the appearance, health, and safety of commercial properties including office parks, retail centers, HOA communities, industrial sites, and municipal facilities. This role ensures properties are clean, well-manicured, and professionally maintained year-round.
Key Responsibilities
Mow, edge, trim, and blow off turf areas on commercial properties.Maintain shrubs, hedges, and ornamental plants through trimming and pruning.Monitor irrigation systems and report leaks or malfunctions.Apply fertilizers, weed control, and other treatments as directed.Remove weeds, debris, and litter from landscaped areas.Operate landscaping equipment safely (mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers).Assist with seasonal clean-ups, mulching, planting, and tree maintenance.Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times.Communicate property concerns or hazards to supervisors.Load and unload equipment and maintain tools in working condition.Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred.1+ year landscaping or grounds maintenance experience preferred.Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor throughout the day.Valid driver’s license (preferred).Knowledge of irrigation systems is a plus.Skills & Traits
