    Job Description

    This Legal Counsel will be a key member of the legal team supporting the Bosch Home Comfort division in North America. This role will support all aspects of litigation and disputes, as well as serving as a trusted advisor on a wide range of general legal matters. We are seeking someone with at least 7 years of experience. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, brings strong judgment, practical problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate with a high degree of independence while partnering closely with business stakeholders and outside counsel.

    Responsibilities

    Support all aspects of litigation, including commercial disputes, product liability claims, and other legal proceedings, including developing and implementing litigation strategy, managing outside counsel, including budgeting and case management.Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of commercial and corporate matters, including contracts, marketing, and regulatory compliance.Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.Provide legal training to business clients.Handle other legal matters as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Education and Experience:

    Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; admission to practice law in Texas.7+ years of litigation experience, including significant time at a reputable law firm.In-house experience strongly preferred, particularly in manufacturing, automotive, technology, or related industries.Experience with product liability and commercial litigation is required.

    Skills and Competencies:

    Strong understanding of litigation strategy, discovery management, and risk assessment.Experience managing outside counsel and litigation budgets.Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.Ability to translate legal issues into practical business guidance.Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.Team-oriented mindset and collaborative approach.

    Purpose of this role is to embody strategic policy making in export controls and sanctions law within the Robert Bosch network worldwide as well as their translation to regional levels. This position serves as an extension of the global team.

    As part of the global Export Control Officer team, you will be responsible for Home Comfort and potentially other Bosch entities in the US.

    Job Description

    Job Description

    o Daily operation of powered industrial trucks or other material handling equipment.
    o Daily use of hand held RF scanner.
    o Daily use of good judgement to comply with instructions or prescribed routines, methods, or practices involving the making of minor decisions.
    o Regular participation in special tasks as assigned such as 6S.
    • Key responsibilities will include the following:
    o Perform a variety of functions involved with shipping, receiving, storage of parts, materials, and products.
    o Prepare parts and materials for shipments. Verify materials and quantities. Pack materials. Load trucks.
    o Receive shipments. Unload trucks. Check shipments for completeness and damage. Record shipments and compile necessary paperwork. Move material to proper area for storage.
    o Avoiding damage to equipment or process due to mistake or carelessness, including damage to machines, tools, supplies, devices, apparatus and solutions
    o Avoid damage to materials, product or installation. Damage may be caused by negligent inspection or testing, wastage of materials, or damage caused by improper installation.
    o Constant safety mindset necessary to prevent injury to others, due to inherent hazards. An accident, should it occur, would result in injuries of a partially incapacitating nature such as loss of a limb or eye, or severe health hazard.
    o Responsible for one's own work

    Qualifications

    High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.1–3 years of experience in a warehouse or related environmentValid OSHA certification for powered industrial trucks (e.g., Order Picker, Reach Truck, Sit Down).Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, and fractions.Proficiency in English (reading and writing).

    Preferred Qualifications

    Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Extensive experience with powered industrial trucks (e.g. Order Picker, Reach Truck, Sit Down)Experience with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP a plus)Additional certifications or experience with advance warehouse systems. Familiarity with continuous improvement practices or lean methodologies. 

    Physical Requirements

    Use of safe lifting techniques while lifting, moving up to 30 pounds or product in elevated and/or difficult positions. Frequent use of pulling trigger and pressing keys on handheld RF scanner8+ hours per day in shopfloor environment - standing and sitting required Operating Powered industrial trucks or other material handling equipment

    This position is required to  have simple counting skills to pick / pack  product via pick to light module or RF terminal.Associate should be capable of adhering to WPI’s  (Work Place Instructions). Pack products into boxes or onto pallets, ensuring items are secured and protected during transit.Perform a 4-eye check to verify pick accuracy and quantities against order documentation.Over-box products as required to meet shipping guidelines and prevent damage.Manifest and label shipments correctly for Parcel and LTL delivery.Shrink wrap boxes and pallets to prevent product shifting or damage in transit.Square/cube out pallets to maximize space utilization and ensure transport stability.Repetitive bending, lifting up to 50lbs, and twisting.Report inventory discrepancies, damages, or product quality issues to supervision.Follow company SOPs, work instructions, and safety policies at all times.Perform to metrics such as safety, quality, production rates, absenteeism, etc. as well as follow 6S and BPS practices. Actively participate in cross-training, safety meetings, and continuous improvement activities.Understand and support daily production targets, customer service levels, and quality expectations.Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the position.
