    Job Description
    Purpose of this role is to embody strategic policy making in export controls and sanctions law within the Robert Bosch network worldwide as well as their translation to regional levels. This position serves as an extension of the global team.
    As part of the global Export Control Officer team, you will be responsible for Home Comfort and potentially other Bosch entities in the US.
    Job Responsibilities:
    Implementation and supervision of the regional Export Controls Officer group
    Responsible for strategic policy development with consideration of current and future export controls and sanction laws, as well as global Bosch directives
    Implementation of effective risk management for the region
    Define mandatory controls and checks
    Support continuous improvement of standardization and efficiency
    Enable the Business to effectively adhere to all policies and directives
    Qualifications
    Basic Qualifications:
    10+ years of Export Controls and an Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of experience with export control in North America (EAR and OFAC)
    1+ years of experience in leading others
    In-depth knowledge of sanctions and export control laws in North America
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively with all levels of the organization
    Experience in creating and delivering effective training
    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
    Strong internal audit skills
    Continuous learner; willing to stay abreast and enjoys research
    Preferred Qualifications:
    Demonstrated ability to act independently upon information and make decisions in adherence to compliance, regulations and policies
    Demonstrated ability to identify and understand issues and resolve inquiries and develop appropriate solutions quickly, effectively and independently
    Knowledge of sanctions and export control laws in the EU & UN
    Ability to effectively coordinate activities and collaborate with groups
    Strong organizational and prioritization skills
    Experience in the automotive industry
    Travel Requirements :
    10%-20% (Domestic and International)

    The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000 - $160,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.

    Job Description
    As a Senior SAP CO Process Expert , you will lead the design, implementation, and global rollout of SAP Controlling (CO) processes within a dynamic S/4HANA transformation. In this role, you'll serve as a key consultant and implementation lead, driving cross-functional collaboration between Controlling, Finance, and adjacent business units such as Production, Logistics, and R&D. You'll also work closely with our U.S. and global teams during SAP system migrations from R/3 to S/4HANA.
    Serve as a subject matter expert for SAP Controlling (CO) processes across global business units.
    Lead the definition, documentation, and implementation of process templates and best practices.
    Support process integration with adjacent domains including production, logistics, investments, and corporate finance.
    Guide U.S. and global business entities through the SAP R/3 to S/4HANA migration.
    Collaborate with corporate headquarters to ensure system alignment and data consistency.
    Drive the successful global rollout of CO-related functionalities across regional and international locations.
    Provide post-go-live support, continuous improvement recommendations, and user training.
    Participate in broader IT transformation projects with a focus on finance and controlling systems.
    Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, providing expert-level insights into SAP CO optimization.
    Qualifications
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
    5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP CO (Controlling) in a consulting or enterprise environment.
    Proven experience implementing SAP R/3 and/or S/4HANA systems-ideally including at least one full-cycle S/4HANA migration.
    Strong understanding of related SAP modules (FI, MM, PP, etc.) and cross-functional process integration.
    Familiarity with project management methodologies (agile, waterfall/PEP).
    Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
    Ability to work independently and lead initiatives in a hybrid and international work environment.
    Willingness to travel internationally as needed (10-20%).
    Preferred Skills:
    Experience in training key users and supporting change management efforts.
    Familiarity with U.S. GAAP and finance operations in a manufacturing environment.
    German language skills a plus (not required).

    The Manager - International Tax Governance position will bear primary responsibility for advising our HVAC business unit and its subsidiaries on issues related to international tax law in the areas of transfer pricing and permanent establishments, as well as the resulting compliance requirements. This will require coordination and review cross-border business transactions concerning the various tax requirements. In addition, this position will act as the tax governance interface with the business in close collaboration.

    This includes, but is not limited to:

    Defining global tax regulations for transfer pricing and permanent establishment matters, including risk management guidelines the business unit.Actively support the business unit to implement the tax governance requirements and monitor the implementation.Manage tax audits and conduct tax compliance trainings.Maintain close communication with global team to assess issues and conceptually develop and refine standards.

    This position has a dual reporting line into the US tax department and the global tax department in Germany. Must be able to accommodate time zone differences. 

    Travel 5-10%

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or relevant field required. CPA or equivalent professional qualification strongly preferred.7+ years of relevant experience in international tax, ideally within a multinational corporation or public accounting firm.Strong knowledge of transfer pricing, permanent establishment, international tax principles, OECD guidelines, BEPS developments, and global tax compliance frameworks are required. Experience in governance, risk management, and internal controls related to tax.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Fluent in English, spoken and written.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Master's degree in taxation or a Juris Doctorate.Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cultures and functions.High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to explain complex tax issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team.Strong project management skills.German language skills are an advantage.
