    Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBocar US has an exciting opportunity for a CNC Technician. The technician will perform setup/changeovers on 5-acis horizontal mills. A setup will require the technician to load/unload tools, change out fixtures, and run the NC program. The technician will remain at the machine assisting the operator until first piece verification. After production has begun, the technician may need to assist the operator with any issues they have. The technician will also be required to stage the tooling for each job. Staging will include loading the tools with heat-shrink equipment, balancing, and pre-setting the length.

    Die Cast Technician 3rd Shift – Huntsville, AL

     

    Pay: $18.85/Hr + $1/hr shift differential

     

    Bocar US is seeking a Die Cast Technician to join our team in Tanner, AL. This role will load/unload aluminum castings from conveyor for inspection. The Operator will also use  a variety of pneumatic equipment and hand tools to ensure parts are in spec. 

    Key Responsibilities

    Preform inspections of products, services, and equipment control to evaluate quality of performance.Operate, clean and maintain automated equipment inside and around automated die casting cell.Monitor machine performance, inspect casting quality, pack or load castings into dunnage or racks.Document production values while following written and verbal procedures and practices.Clean and prepare equipment for production by following documented TPM procedures.Perform best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.use  a variety of pneumatic equipment including a 3/8" pneumatic belt sander and other hand tools to ensure parts are in spec. 

    Qualifications

    Must be proficient in reading and writing English and basic math (adding, subtracting).1 year of experience in a manufacturing environmentAbility to work well in a fast pace environmentMust have good verbal and written communication skills.Must be able to lift 22 pounds repetitively on a height of 5 feetDie Casting or Injection Molding experience preferred.

    Pay Range: $33.26 – $38.80/hour

     

    Bocar US is seeking an experienced Tool and Die Technician to join our dynamic team in Huntsville, AL. This role is essential to the setup, operation, and maintenance of precision tooling and production machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Interpret and work from blueprints, diagrams, sketches, and manuals to ensure accurate tooling setup and repairs.Set up and operate manual machines (lathes, mills, drills, surface grinders) and maintain tooling to production standards.Use hand tools such as die grinders, files, and sandpaper to finish and adjust components.Install, troubleshoot, and maintain dies, including knowledge of hydraulic and electrical components.Perform welding operations (TIG/Arc) as needed for tooling modifications or repairs.Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes during tooling installation and maintenance.Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and 5S standards.Collaborate with team members to resolve tooling issues and minimize downtime.

    Qualifications

    Education: 2-year degree in Tool & Die Technology or equivalent experience.Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on tooling experience in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in precision measurement tools and manual machining.Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy tooling components.Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.TIG/Arc welding experience.Forklift operation certification.Sanding/polishing and finishing techniques.Good verbal and written communication; bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.Computer skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.Ability to work a 2/2/3 schedule.
