Blythe Development's operations include clearing, grading, storm drainage, sanitary sewer, waterline, curb and gutter, sidewalk, concrete paving, retaining walls, culverts, bridges, stone base and asphalt paving. Blythe Brothers Asphalt Company provides the asphalt services for Blythe Development Co. Blythe Development employs over 900 employees. This large, experienced workforce enables Blythe Development to self-perform 80% of site groundwork, which gives them greater control than competitors who must subcontract the bulk of the job. We are seeking a Construction Field Technician to work alongside asphalt and concrete crews to support surveying and machine control operations in the field. Responsibilities: * Setup, maintain, and troubleshoot survey/GPS equipment * Ensure machines and crews are working with correct project files * Coordinate with field personnel to support daily operations * Verify equipment functionality and assist with technical issues * Support construction layout and grade control processes Qualifications: * General understanding of civil construction practices * Experience with survey equipment, GPS, or machine control systems preferred * Technically savvy with strong troubleshooting skills * Ability to work outdoors and communicate effectively with crew members Preferred (not required): * Experience with Leica equipment * Experience with Trimble equipment * Familiarity with Trimble Business Center (TBC) and 3D models Benefits * Employee Stock Ownership Program * Paid Time Off * 401k + matching * Medical, dental, vision, life, disability, supplemental insurance programs An Equal Opportunity Employer Drug-Free Workplace Read Less

General Description The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating equipment in a safe and effective manner on jobsites. Heavy equipment may include, but is not limited to: front-end loaders, trackhoe, bulldozer, GPS dozer, roller, off-road truck, mini-excavator, excavator, skidsteer. Other duties may be assigned based on specific job needs. Key Duties * Ability to enter and exit heavy machinery while maintaining three points of contact, awareness of surroundings, and multi-limb coordination * Knowledge and appreciation of heavy equipment safety and operation * Daily maintenance of equipment to remain in proper and safe operation * Ability to work as part of a team and follow Foremen's instructions to ensure schedules are met * Flexibility with schedule changes, location changes, time of shift changes * Ability to follow traffic control instructions * Properly follow all Company policies and procedures for safe working conditions * Flexibility with schedule changes, location changes, time of shift changes Requirements * Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry 50+ lbs * Preferred: 2+ years' experience as a heavy equipment operator Benefits * Employee Stock Ownership Program * Paid Time Off * 401k + matching * Medical, dental, vision, life, disability, supplemental insurance programs An Equal Opportunity Employer Drug-Free Workplace Read Less
