Bluewater Plumbing & Heating, Inc. is an established NYC commercial plumbing contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple active commercial projects from contract award through closeout.
This is a high-impact role reporting directly to ownership. You will have full financial and operational responsibility for assigned projects.
We are not looking for a paper pusher. We are looking for a results-driven commercial PM who understands margin, manpower, and execution.
Position Overview
You will manage $5 MM in active commercial plumbing projects and be responsible for:
Financial performance (gross margin protection)Labor tracking and manpower planningChange order pricing and captureSchedule coordination with GCsBilling preparation and AR coordinationForecasting cost-to-complete weeklyThis role directly impacts company profitability.
Responsibilities
Manage projects from kickoff through final completionTrack labor vs. budget weeklyForecast final job cost and marginSubmit and track change orders within 72 hours of scope changeCoordinate with General Contractors and site supersLead weekly production meetingsMonitor inspections, permits, and compliancePrepare monthly billing requisitionsPresent weekly project dashboard to Director of PMRequired Experience
5+ years commercial construction project managementPlumbing or MEP experience strongly preferredExperience managing multiple concurrent projectsStrong understanding of job costing and forecastingAbility to manage $5M+ annual volumeProficiency in Excel and project management softwareExperience working with NYC GCsIdeal Candidate
