    Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBluegrass Pediatric Therapies is seeking an Authorization Specialist to join our private outpatient pediatric therapy team serving children and families in Richmond and Winchester, Kentucky.

    At BPT, we are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team, is highly organized, and is committed to providing exceptional support to our patients and families. No prior authorization or medical billing experience is required—we provide comprehensive training for the right candidate.

    Our administrative team works closely together to manage scheduling, insurance authorizations, physician orders, and billing, allowing our therapists to focus on providing excellent patient care.

    As an Authorization Specialist, you will be responsible for obtaining approximately 100–150 insurance authorizations per week, communicating with insurance companies, tracking authorization status, and ensuring our patients receive the services they need without interruption. This position is for our Richmond clinic location.

    Training

    Previous experience with insurance authorizations or medical billing is not required. We are happy to train motivated individuals who are eager to learn and become part of our team.

    Schedule

    Bluegrass Pediatric Therapies is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Flexible scheduling options are available based on clinic needs. This position is for 38-40 hours weekly.
