    BlueCloud Staffing is seeking a dedicated and behavior-focused Paraprofessional / Behavior Specialist to support elementary students in Bedford Park, IL.

    This role is ideal for candidates with experience supporting students with behavioral, emotional, or developmental needs who are passionate about creating structured, positive learning environments.

    Position Overview

    The Behavior Specialist Paraprofessional will provide 1:1 or small group behavioral and instructional support to students with identified behavioral needs. The role involves implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), supporting emotional regulation, and working closely with teachers and special education staff to promote student success.

    Key Responsibilities

    Behavioral Support

    Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under the direction of special education staff

    Provide 1:1 support for students with behavioral challenges

    Utilize positive behavior reinforcement strategies

    Assist students with emotional regulation and coping skills

    Track and document behavioral data daily

    Classroom & Academic Support

    Assist with implementing teacher-directed lessons

    Support students during transitions, specials, lunch, and recess

    Help maintain structured classroom routines

    Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment

    Crisis Prevention & De-Escalation

    Use approved de-escalation strategies when necessary

    Maintain student and staff safety

    Participate in crisis intervention protocols as trained

    Collaboration

    Work closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, social workers, and administrators

    Attend team meetings as needed

    Maintain confidentiality in accordance with FERPA guidelines

    Qualifications

    Illinois Paraprofessional License (ELS-PARA) or ability to obtain

    Associates degree or minimum 60 college credit hours preferred

    Prior experience working with children with behavioral or emotional needs strongly preferred

    Experience in ABA, behavior management, or special education settings is a plus

    Strong communication, patience, and classroom management skills

    Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations

    We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Itinerant School Psychologist to support students across multiple schools within the Bedford Park, IL area. This full-time, school-based position involves traveling between assigned sites to provide comprehensive psychological services and support student success.

    Responsibilities:

    Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations across assigned schools

    Participate in eligibility determinations, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary team meetings

    Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and families

    Support development and implementation of behavior intervention plans

    Assist with MTSS initiatives and student support planning

    Maintain compliant and timely documentation in accordance with Illinois regulations

    Qualifications:

    Masters or Doctorate in School Psychology

    Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement (or eligibility)

    Experience in school-based assessment and consultation preferred

    Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a multi-site schedule

    Reliable transportation required
