Job responsibilities & skill sets:
Operate heavy equipment.Oversee unloading of rock from vessels at the Port.Perform Maintenance in an industrial workplace; including Conveyors.Cutting and welding knowledge.Must be able to lift over 50 lbs.Must be able to work all hours as scheduled.Be flexible as schedule may change quickly due to workload and shipping schedule.Must have a clean driving recordSchedule will consist of night shift & day shifts, some weekends based upon the shipping schedule.A self-starterStrong communication skills required.Blue Water Industries is committed to equal employment opportunity. · Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of multiple types of heavy equipment.
· Ensures equipment receive proper maintenance at all times and that coolant, lubrications, oils and hydraulics are maintained at proper levels.
· Must be familiar with and adhere to service requirements, equipment and operator limitations and safe operating procedures at all times.
· Must keep inside of vehicle clean and neat at all times.
· Performs cleanup activities on a routine basis.
· Performs other duties as directed by management.
Experience:
Must have at least 2 years of heavy equipment operator experience.
Physical demands:
· Must be able to push, pull or lift 60 lbs or more.
· Must be able to bend down, crouch and squat
