    Our Pool Maintenance Technicians are held to a high standard here at Blue Science. In this customer-facing role, you will be servicing and maintaining pools, inspecting equipment, and managing customer expectations daily. In return, Blue Science will provide you with a company truck to drive on your routes (valid driver's license required), gas card (all gas paid), and excellent career growth opportunities!

    Areas we service are Tampa, Port Richey, Tarpon Springs, Palm Harbor, Keystone, Lutz, Temple Terrace, Clearwater, Seminole, Pinellas Park, St. Petersburg, Valrico, Riverview, Brandon, Bloomingdale, Apollo Beach, Sun Bay South, Ruskin, and any additional surrounding areas.

    Job Description

    Perform weekly cleaning and maintenance on clients' pools by skimming, vacuuming, and brushing walls and steps.
    Maintains and cleans pool filters.
    Adjusts, maintains, and regularly tests water to ensure proper chemistry.
    Consistently inspects pool and equipment
    Resolves client or customer concerns and provides excellent customer care.
    Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Required Skills / Abilities:

    Excellent verbal and customer service skills
    The ability to lift 50 lbs.
    Ability to work outside year-round in a variety of conditions.
    Pool experience preferred but not required.
    A valid driver's license and good driving record required.

    Education and Experience:

    High school diploma / GED (preferred but not required)

    Schedule:

    Monday-Friday with weekend / Saturday opportunity!

    As a Repair Mechanic with Blue Science, your primary focus will be servicing our clients by ensuring their pool equipment is properly repaired and maintained. Whether you’re fixing equipment or interacting with a customer, exceptional service is always the top priority.

    This is not a sales position—just repairs!

    Responsibilities:

    Conduct thorough inspections of pool equipment to identify maintenance and repair needs.Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with pool systems, including pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, and plumbing.Perform necessary repairs or replacements of faulty components such as motors, valves, filters, pool lights, and more.Install and configure pool equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.Respond promptly and professionally to customer service requests and inquiries related to pool repairs.Maintain accurate records of all repairs, including parts used and labor performed.Always adhere to safety protocols and comply with industry regulations.Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in pool repair techniques and equipment.

    Requirements:

    Proven experience as a pool repair technician.Strong knowledge of pool equipment, including pumps, chlorination and salt systems, filters, heaters, automation systems, electrical components, and plumbing.Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex pool equipment issues on site.Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.Capable of working independently, managing multiple repair tasks efficiently, and meeting deadlines.Exceptional customer service and communication skills.Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment when required.Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record required

    Education & Experience:

    High school diploma/GED (preferred but not required)4+ years of pool repair experience

    Schedule:

    Monday – Friday with occasional Saturdays

    The service areas include Montgomery, Conroe, New Caney, Spring, Tomball, Cypress, Humble, Pattison, Katy, Jersey Village, Hunters Creek Village, Cinco Ranch, Rosenberg, Richmond, Sugar Land, Fresno, Pearland, Rosharon, Alvin, Galveston, Texas City, Dickinson, League City, La Porte, Deer Park, and Pasadena.

    Your service area will depend on where you are currently located.

    Job Description

    Perform weekly cleaning and maintenance on clients' pools by skimming, vacuuming, and brushing walls and steps.Maintain and clean pool filters.Adjust, maintain, and regularly test the water to ensure proper chemistry.Consistently inspect pools and equipment, providing solutions and troubleshooting any issues.Resolve client or customer concerns and provide excellent customer care.Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Required Skills / Abilities:

    Excellent verbal and customer service skills.The ability to lift 50-70 lbs.Ability to work outside year-round in a variety of conditions.Mechanical aptitude and pool experience preferred but not required.A valid driver’s license and good driving record required.

    Education and Experience:

    High school diploma / GED

    Job Type: Full-time

    Production Pay: $650 - $1,100.00 per week

    Bonus Structure:

    $1,000 bonus after 90 days of satisfactory performance

    Additional $1,000 bonus after 180 days of continued satisfactory performance
