PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Superintendent is responsible for scheduling and managing subcontractors for various types of commercial and industrial construction projects. Site Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time and to a high level of quality, coordinating directly with subcontractors, clients and the Blue Rock project management team. We are looking for a Superintendent that is willing to travel out of state as needed for projects but also cover project locations in the South Jersey Area, Bucks County, and Philadelphia when needed.

At least 5 years of Superintendent/Foreman experience on commercial projectsBS degree in Engineering or Construction Management (preferred)OSHA CertificationKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

To oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation. This position is based out of our Allentown, Pa office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementationCommunicate with owners, architects and subcontractors related to project risk, timetables, costs/budgets, and change managementAllocate resources for assigned projectsPerform pre-construction planning, scheduling, and cost controlBuy-out of job by determining the sub-contracting strategy for the project and preparing front-end documents and bid processes under various project delivery modelsPrepare monthly reports including cost, schedule, safety, etc. for internal and/or external useSupervise onsite personnel and subcontractorsInterface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clientsNegotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costsMaintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specificationsPrepare contingency plans for potential risks, expanding contractual services and project profitSKILLS & ABILITIES:
