Primary Tasks: The Retail Human Resources Advisor partners with retail field leadership across four districts to deliver practical, business-focused human resources support. This role acts as a trusted advisor to District Managers and Store General Managers, helping drive performance, strengthen employee engagement, and ensure consistent execution of HR programs, policies, and compliance across the organization.
The Retail Human Resources Advisor balances strategic partnership with hands-on execution, serving as the primary HR resource for day-to-day employee relations, talent management, and operational HR needs within the assigned regions.
Responsibilities:
Field Partnership & Business Support
Employee Relations
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective action Conduct thorough, timely, and objective investigations; provide recommendations aligned with company policy and legal requirements Coach leaders on consistent and appropriate application of policies and documentationPerformance Management
Support leaders in diagnosing performance issues and driving accountability through clear expectations and action plans Partner on progressive discipline, terminations, and complex performance situations Contribute to performance review cycles, ensuring consistency and quality across districtsTalent & Workforce Planning
Partner with field leadership on hiring strategies, workforce planning, and succession planning Identify talent gaps and support development plans for key roles Collaborate with recruiting to improve candidate quality and hiring outcomesTraining & Development
Support the rollout and reinforcement of training programs for Store General Managers and District Managers Coach leaders on core management skills including feedback, coaching, and team development Identify training needs based on trends in performance and employee relationsCompliance & Policy Execution
Ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures, and employment laws across all locations Monitor compliance trends and proactively address risks Partner with HR and Legal teams on policy interpretation and updatesHR Operations & Projects
Support implementation of HR initiatives, programs, and systems (e.g., performance management, engagement surveys, HRIS updates) Analyze HR metrics (turnover, engagement, retention, etc.) to inform action plans Contribute to cross-functional HR projects and continuous improvement effortsEducation
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field, and/or equivalent work experience.Job Requirements
5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a multi-unit retail or field environment Strong employee relations experience, including investigations and performance management Demonstrated ability to influence and coach leaders at multiple levelsWorking knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws: Knowledge of employment laws relating to staffing and recruiting, compensation, organizational planning, organizational development, employee relations, safety training, and preventative labor relationsExperience with HRIS systems (e.g., Dayforce or similar) and applicant tracking systems preferredBilingual preferredExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with others Enthusiastic, energetic, approachable, and personableExcellent time management, organizational, and follow-up skills: Ability to set priorities and organize time: Demonstrates initiative and can work independentlyStrong computer skills to include Excel, Word, PowerPointMust have the ability to maintain confidentiality and effectively and discreetly deal with sensitive issuesMust be willing to travel 50% or moreKey Competencies

Pay Rate:
The pay range below is provided in compliance with state/city specific laws. This pay range applies to this location. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
$85,000 - $100,000 per year + Annual Bonus
