We are looking for experienced Collections Specialists to join our organization of dedicated and driven individuals. The company was founded in 1982 in Houston, Texas with our unique and highly effective Delinquency Control Program. This service provides credit unions with experienced, highly trained personnel who understand the culture of the credit union collections process. With an established history and reputation of excellence, our services expanded to include both on-site and remote training for credit unions of all sizes.
Areas of Responsibility:
Oversee and execute all activities relating to delinquency controlOutgoing & incoming collection telephone callsPast due notifications and lettersInform members about unpaid accountsUtilize tools and resources at our disposal for positive resolutionAbility to work independently and unsupervisedInitiate repossession proceedings, litigation and bankruptcy referralsKeep records and status of member's account
Qualifications:
This is NOT a remote position, all duties and responsibilities are performed in officeReliable, dependable, motivated, self-drivenMust be able/willing to drive within Houston areaPrevious credit union, banking, customer service or related financial backgroundAbility to build rapport with clients and membersKnowledge of repossession, litigation and bankruptcyExcellent written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office toolsAbility to prioritize, organize and multitask to effectively manage timeMust have reliable transportation for travel between client officesValid drivers license and state required liability insurance is mandatoryHourly pay, non-commission with guaranteed full time hours
