Business Unit Overview: This role sits within Preqin, a part of BlackRock. Preqin plays a key role in how we are revolutionizing private markets data and technology for clients globally, complementing our existing Aladdin technology platform to deliver investment solutions for the whole portfolio. Role Overview: The Preqin Client Engagement team manages the partnerships formed with each Preqin client and is the trusted advisor, problem solver and business partner to Preqin clients. They are the key point of contact and are charged with driving, deepening and growing the relationship over time through data, product and analytics knowledge. You are highly passionate about understanding the needs and evolving priorities of client organizations and on providing analytical and investment process solutions that demonstrate the capabilities of the entire BlackRock Solutions organization. Key responsibilities: * Acts as a regional team lead, overseeing a defined portfolio of clients while setting engagement, retention, and growth strategy across the region * Provides people leadership to direct Client Engagement team members, including coaching, performance management, and development to ensure strong client outcomes * Ownership of Preqin's strategic relationships including engagement, client satisfaction, retention and growth * Establish governance with senior stakeholders and business leads • Builds a deep understanding of client's strategic objectives and the applicability of Preqin in the client's investment workflows and analytics Sets commercial and engagement strategy for client accounts • Accountable for managing the renewal process * Identifies upselling opportunities and partners with Business Development to drive harvesting targets, and jointly execute the upsell opportunities • Preempt churn risk through deep understanding of adoption and needs of the client; Coordinate adoption and service efforts with Client Experience and Service to drive successful client outcomes * Partner with Marketing to influence and ensure effective campaigns that strengthen client engagement efforts * Collaborate with Product, Data, Engineering and other teams by sharing client feedback, themes and trends to help shape our roadmap and priorities * Partners and coordinates with Aladdin and BlackRock teams on joint clients and commercial opportunities What Skills & Qualifications: * 10+ years of sales experience in a sales and/or account management role within financial services, alternative investments, or B2B SaaS sales * Proven experience leading and scaling a sales or account management region, including designing and executing campaigns or strategic initiatives to drive growth * Demonstrated experience managing, developing, and motivating team members, with accountability for both individual and collective performance * Demonstrable success and a record of hitting quota and sales target. AMRS PGR teams are organized regionally to support the unique jurisdictional requirements and stakeholders for our various fund ranges. Members of the AMRS PGR team are responsible for overseeing the funds' overall control environment and manage numerous business affairs in support of our funds.
