About You:
We’re looking for talented people with vision and creativity to join our crew. Have you ever thought something up and then built it? Do you tinker? Are you able to build something from an idea?
Black Ops Productions is seeking a skilled carpenter/maker to work with us in making some awesome sh*t. Applicants should have at least 4 years of experience, preferably with some set design and stage element fabrication. Abilities to work as a part of team and individually, take direction as well as be a self-starter are a must. You must have shop experience.
All projects are fabricated at our La Grange, KY facility so you must have your own transportation and basic toolset. Some travel involved for local and out-of-state installations.
Salary for this position is between $40-65,000+ based upon experience. Bonuses paid frequently for achieving milestones. Shop hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm. Minimum 40 hours a week with additional hours available as needed - biggest thing is getting the job done and working with your team. Paychecks are cut bi-weekly. We also offer a generous PTO package.

Black Ops Productions is a full-service creative production company specializing in large-scale environments, experiential builds, signage, and custom fabrication. We manage projects from concept through execution, blending design, print, and physical production to deliver high-impact, real-world work.
We’re seeking a Graphic Designer who is comfortable owning designs all the way through production—someone who understands how to collaborate with clients, manage artwork workflows, and prepare files for both print and CNC fabrication.
About the Role
This role sits at the intersection of design, production, and client collaboration. You’ll design for large-format print, create reusable templates, prepare CNC-ready files using VCarve, and manage the trafficking of artwork from concept to final delivery. You’ll also interface directly with clients to review assets, manage revisions, and ensure expectations are met.
Responsibilities
Design and prepare files for large-scale and large-format print (signage, banners, wraps, displays, environmental graphics)Create and maintain scalable templates and modular design systemsDevelop custom design elements including icons, patterns, illustrations, and dimensional graphicsPrepare and optimize CNC-ready files for routing and fabrication, including setup for VCarveManage artwork trafficking, including file organization, versioning, approvals, and final deliveryInterface directly with clients to review designs, gather feedback, and manage revisionsEnsure all artwork meets production specs (bleeds, trims, color profiles, resolutions, materials)Collaborate with internal creative, production, and fabrication teams to ensure feasibility and accuracyAdapt designs across multiple sizes, formats, and materialsManage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced production environmentMaintain brand consistency and high production standards across all deliverables
Required Qualifications
3+ years of professional graphic design experienceProven experience with large-scale print productionHands-on experience creating CNC machine filesWorking knowledge of VCarve for CNC routing and fabricationProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)Experience with artwork trafficking and file managementComfortable interfacing with clients and stakeholdersStrong understanding of print processes, materials, and prepressExceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with environmental, experiential, or event-based graphicsFamiliarity with CNC materials (acrylic, wood, metal, PVC, composites)Experience working alongside fabrication or installation teamsMotion graphics, illustration, or 3D experience is a plusAbility to use AI and 3D software to generate renderings a HUGE plus.
