THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tray passing drinks, desserts, and hors d'oeuvresSetting tables and decorating/setting up food stationsAssisting catering chefs with assemblyAttending to food stationsBussing trash and plates to ensure the party is always cleanSculleryPrioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAssist with loading and unloading of catering vans
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Tidy, well-groomed appearance with pressed white button down, black slacks, and black shoesHigh school diploma or associate degree in culinary studies or food and hospitality managementPrior experience in a food-serving establishment, preferably catering server experienceExcellent communication skillsHigh level of stamina to work to work on feet for extended periodsAbility to work well under intense time pressureDedication to on-time arrival for shiftsAbility to lift up to 25 pounds and carry trays, plates and smallwaresAvailable to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekendsPolite and hospitable attitudeMeticulous attention to detailMust be willing to work at events throughout the Los Angeles areaMust have a passion for foodBartending skills a plus
